So this is a continuance from the Chatime review for yesterday, July 15th. It's more of an employee shout out or review of sorts. But yesterday, I found myself coming from the MainStreet Urgent Care on foot when my phone died. I had a ride waiting in the wings to come and pick me up but with a dead phone I was unable to let them know my location. So walked towards the Waffle House, in hopes of finding someone that wouldn't mind helping me out by plugging my phone up to their charger, so I could call my ride, Because at this point it was nearing darkness, I was on foot, alone, and female .... So not the best of situations right?! So after getting the angry and clearly aggravated No, from Chatime I continued down the strip mall to Firehouse Subs. They clearly had maybe 5 customers in their lobby all at different stages of their ordering phases, but all in all, I was able to walk-up to their counter and I AGAIN inquired to their ability to just simply allow me to charge my phone enough to allow me to make a call to alert my ride of my new location so I could be picked up. Well, compared to how the previous employee handled my request it was like night and day! Immediately, ALL of the employees that were working behind the counter went to work trying to come up with a solution to my ordeal. One young woman spoke up and said she had a C type charger cord, another one chimed in that she had a box so they both went about getting those and another young lady offered me the option to use HER PERSONAL PHONE to make my call! I was beside myself at this point in disbelief, from the stark contrast of the previous man at the Chatime to these amazing young people that now stood before me!! They went above and beyond what I asked of them to help me in my time of need!! After I made my call and my ride was then in route, I thanked them for their assistance again and went to wait outside. It then dawned on me that I needed to take this opportunity to acknowledge these awesome young people for their part in my otherwise SUPER crummy day! They didn't know that I'd just come from Urgent Care because I had a severe toothache, they didn't know I was on foot and without a vehicle, they didn't know about anything that I'm currently dealing with that is ohhh SOOOO heavy at times that it feels the sheer weight of it may crush me beneath it...... they ONLY knew I needed help with my PHONE being dead!! It's with tears in my eyes now, that I write this, but the smallest gestures can mean so so SOOOO very much to people that we aren't even aware of. Please use an ounce of grace when we deal with others around us each and every day. Please? Because we REALLY don't know what position of life one another are in from one point to another.“
“Finally the 2 woman that was working today don't know they name but it was around 6:00pm today they got my sandwich right they put all the rights things the go on the Italian I eat from there regular and all the sandwiches got was wrong I got the same thing every time I go so the other employees need to take lessons from the 2 woman that is working today thank“

Orders a day before a customer even walks through the door, people mess up and that’s okay that doesn’t mean you go online and start degrading the people that work there🤣🤣🤣. And firehouse doesn’t have apple juice there’s no reason to get unreasonably upset about a little cup of apple juice.“
“Fire house always makes a good sub ,and let me start by saying don't let the 3 stars i gave them for food fool you .....I picked this sandwich but I just didn't particularly care for it the Jamaican jerk turkey ,I usually don't experiment when im hungry I like to get what I know about, however I've had several of the selections they have and haven't been disappointed...the store was clean the employees were very helpful“
