Dear Lord, my tastebuds have never been so happy, the homemade Alfredo sauce is unmatched! You may not think this is great because it is in a large brand hotel, but the restaurant owner runs the show, and it is phenomenal! Do yourself a favor, and try that Chicken Alfredo and the award winning gumbo, you will not be disappointed!

Suggested Lafayette Restaurant to my family after enjoying an event at the Mobile Civic Center, and everyone raved about the food and the service! We will definitely be back! Lafayette's is a hidden dining gem in Mobile, AL! Best Lemon Pepper Wings, hands down!

The cheese burger and chef salad were pretty good. We were in the 17th floor bar and ordered food from the restaurant. The bar has a great view of the city and mobile bay.

We had breakfast there while we were I town for a convention. Martha waited on us and I felt like I was at home. The food was great the menu was priced exceptionally well and we enjoyed our visit for breakfast each day. Thank you guys for the incredible service. The whole staff was simply amazing.

This restaurant is located in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Downtown Mobile where we stayed recently. Breakfast was good. Choices of omelettes and pancakes, but menus change daily. I had pancakes that were thick and fluffy with very good coffee and service with a smile.

Lafayette’s is a hidden jewel of a restaurant tucked around the corner inside of the Holiday Inn in beautiful downtown Mobile. Chefs Craig and Regina are amazing. The food is truly the star! From the award winning cajun gumbo to the Ribeye steak and sides, the food was perfectly cooked and so full of delicious flavor. Best gumbo that I’ve ever had. We HIGHLY recommend it. Can’t wait to go back.

We ordered our dinner in the Sky Lounge and it did not disappoint! Food was wonderful, authentic and good portions. The Chef was amazing! He asked the front desk for our room number and called up to see if he bring up a special dessert for our 15th wedding anniversary!

Pass by this secret and you’re taste buds will hate you. We stayed in the attached Holiday Inn and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food that was presented to us at the 17th floor bar and in our room. The owners were extremely friendly and great to talk with (even while they were cooking). Make sure to go to this place before Holiday Inn makes them serve generic food.

We arrived at 9:10 AM for the breakfast buffet that ended at 10:00 AM. I heard the staff tell the people who also got the buffet that food items would be refilled. After getting a few things and waiting for more eggs to be brought out I was told no more food was being added. I ended up paying $13.20 for 2 pieces of bacon, a biscuit, and a warm glass of orange juice, the server took 20 minutes to bring the OJ, she never brought the water and ketchup I had asked for. We asked about the buffet being restocked some additional food I was rudely told it was too close the them closing it, which was different then we were told when we came in. I expected more, but was disappointed,

We tried to order off the menu on our first morning there and turned out for some reason to be very confusing for the wait staff. The following morning it went much easier just getting the buffet.
