The staff was friendly & engaging. The food was good and the portions were of good size. I recommend the Ahi-Ahi nachos. I wish I had gotten them as a meal instead of an appetizer. Like most restaurants in the area the dining room is rather small. The drinks were expertly mixed. I would definitely go back again.
Been coming to Montegos for years and it's already become a Mobile classic. I love the Castaway drink. It is strong but tastes like a punch. It's also one of the few places to get great Tuna. I'm here now before a Mardi Gras parade. The place is hopping and people are having a great time, but the workers are keeping up and I'm happy. You have a choice, but just remember. You and the captain make it happen.

Had the fried pickles ( which were AMAZING) and the Ahi tuna salad which was very good. unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and it took a long time to get our food. We were served LONG after another couple who came in way after us, so that is why I'm giving 3 stars. Would probably come back again to give them another chance
