I visited P & L Seafood in Mobile AL. I was told by locals that this was a good place to purchase fresh fish. That was my intent. However, once I entered, I smelled food being prepared on the spot for take-out. Ya'll know I had to try it. One of my favorite things about seafood in Mobile versus St. Louis is the price. Got what I wanted and also received polite customer service. It was 10 mins to close, but the young was still nice and polite. Don't go that close to closing and expect to get cooked food. But if you are taking it home, good place to run in quick and get out.

If had ? stars ? that's what I'd give!! We went there at closing time on Christmas Eve to buy some white shrimp to have Christmas day. The shrimp were beautiful and if they taste anything like the fresh oysters the owner fried up for us to eat on our 45 mile trip back home then we will be going back every week!! Have your seafood cooked up for you and take fresh seafood home is a win win for us. Great prices too!! Thanks to the owner for your friendly service. See you again soon!!
