I am trying to comprehend why I was charged $12.50 for two small flour tortillas, shredded pork, onions, and cilantro. The excess juice from the pork made the little tortillas soggy. The meat barely had flavor.
Their food is far from being authentic and it is extremely overpriced.

First, they served my lemonade with a lint in it, they offered to change it but the drink never arrived. They said they were gonna take it off from the bill but didn’t. When i went to pay, i got a notification that i was already charged but the cashier said it wasn’t showing in her end so she tried to use another computer. She was very rude. Obviously I got charged again-no big deal. I called them right after about the double transaction, and they told me to follow up on it once the transaction no longer says pending, which I did. Talked to the same woman, Stephanie, and she was again still very rude and hang up the call on me. It was just not a very nice customer experience specifically with her. If she doesn’t want to work, she should consider doing something else, or just stay home, eat and watch TV.

Each plate cost $15 for two small tacos. My wife’s was bland. Mine was bland. We switched because there’s two tacos and hated them all, the steamed vegetables were the highlight, be sure and look at the price of the little small 10 ounce margarita iced down to an oblivion because it was $21, I’ll never be back

The place looked great, but I'm not sure that the food was worthy of the price it cost.
It wasn't bad by any means, but I wouldn't want to pay what I did to get it. I also was not a fan of the tortilla chips, personally. Too thick and almost bready.
My friend and her family love this place though (she was here and she downed her whole plate before everyone else), so I certainly don't speak for everyone in sharing my thought on this one.
Loved the exterior and interior design. Lots of hanging decor, wall decorations of various items, a hot sauce bar, wall decor in the bathroom, and neon lights outside when it gets dark! They also have outdoor and indoor seating!
I'd say if you like Mexican food, it's at least worth a shot!

Saw Roosters on all kinds of dining lists for Mobile, so had to try it out. We were not disappointed! Went for dinner around 5 on a Saturday night and it was half full, no problem finding a table. Couple tables outside on a small patio, too. Staff were friendly, and food was ready in good time. Note that you cannot mix and match individual tacos for a taco plate if you want the deal!
Ordered a Rooster Sunrise margarita, 2 chorizo tacos, 1 jerk chicken taco, 2 al pastor tacos, and sides of plantains and chips w/ queso. All were excellent. Loved that they have a hot sauce and toppings bar to further customize, too. The plaintains on the chorizo tacos were inspired!
