My friends reserved a table for my birthday 2/26 and we got there early and the place was closed lights were off doors were locked they didn’t call or email or anything or even bother calling back when they opened back to see if they can work anything out basically ruined my birthday I wish I didn’t have to give a star at all
Smoked tomato bisque was bursting with flavor, the rack of lamb was cooked perfectly with a pink medium interior and a well seared exterior.
Have been a few times for brunch and the experience every time was superb. While the menu is a little on the pricey side you absolutely get what you pay for. Great food and drinks. Beautiful outdoor seating and the staff were excellent. Definitely worth a visit!
Went for brunch. The food was great. A touch high for what you receive in regards to spicy honey chicken biscuit and never received a refill on coffee. But ambience and location are wonderful.
We went for brunch and I won't be going back. My "stack" of Pancakes was 2 Pancakes and very greasy. The other food ordered was subpar as well. Very Chewy shrimp and extremely overpriced. Also, I realize it's a family business but some servers who have actually served before would also probably make a big difference. Don't waste your time. At least, not on the brunch.
First of all, the bartender has no idea how to make a cocktail. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was so, so bad, made with vodka and brandy! My fried pork chop over mashed potatoes was $28.00 and the side of risotto was $15.00. The risotto was cold and under cooked, they also don't have salt and pepper shakers, they bring you paper ones like you would get at McDonalds, guess August, the chef, feels insulted if we want to season our food. My service from Remy was excellent, that is the only positive in my experience. My dinner for one, including tip was $91.70!!!!! Completely Outrageous, will never, ever return.
Perfect place for our 50th Anniversary party! The staff were so helpful in planning and they made set up easy. The room was beautiful and everything on our brunch menu was delicious. Can’t wait to come back next time we are in town!
Superb, great experience from walking in the door to going out the door the food and the salad was excellent I will return
The August House made our 50th Anniversary party perfect! The staff made planning and set up so easy and the room was beautiful. We had a brunch menu and everything was delicious. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town!
Thank you to our waitress Lauren, she was so sweet and she didn’t mind taking our photos!! She made our brunch very special. The food, A+ cuisine, and the drinks were spectacular. I will definitely be back soon.

This was delicious!! I got the shrimp and scallops pasta, but I had no scallops. I believe the chef made up for that because I definitely had tons of shrimp in the dish.
Food was so delicious! Best around in a long time! Will be ordering again!
Enjoyed a nice lunch today celebrating a friends birthday. Awesome grilled shrimp salad. BD girl could only eat half of her giant hamburger. Will definitely be back.
Was the best dining experience in a long time. Hands down worth the price and the best pork and beef tenderloins I’ve ever had
Not impressed. The decor was odd, lighting was inappropriately bright, food mediocre at best, flooring literally looked like a gas station restroom. The staff was very friendly though. I think with a few tweeks here and there this place would be great.
