We didn't have a reservation but you can eat at the bar! We shared small plates so we would have room for dessert :) The pate was smooth and flavorful, with house made sourdough & pickles and the beef cheek with nut risotto was tender and delicious. Follow up with 2 desserts - apple cobbler and chocolate pie - not too sweet, just right! Great bartender, great service, great food!

1/8/2025-Stopped in for lunch and had an incredible experience. The short rib sandwich was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor on thick, buttery, perfectly toasted bread. Every layer felt intentional—from the rich, fall-apart meat to the greens, mushrooms, and truffle aioli—this wasn’t just a sandwich, it was a full-bodied commitment.

The collard greens were seasoned beautifully—rich, soulful, and absolutely worth dipping the sandwich into the pot liquor.

I also ordered the deviled eggs with bacon (minus roe), and they were fantastic—creamy, well-balanced, and elevated by those crispy bacon bits.

I sat at the bar and received excellent service—warm, attentive, and professional. Real silverware and a cloth napkin at the bar may seem small, but it speaks to the level of care and intentionality here. The space was a little cool, but the food and service more than made up for it.

A thoughtful, delicious experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back.

Very tasty, high end dishes. I've never had black eyed peas that tasted like theirs.

Stopped by here for lunch. I’ll start off by saying that I would give it a 4.5 but can’t do halves. The service was good and attentive. The dining area is nice but needs a little attention as some of the ceiling tiles are loose with open gaps in the ceiling. Small detail but this is an upscale place. I ordered the catfish with potatoes and greens. The sides were great and the catfish was good but looked to be a little overcooked and dark. The dish came with two dipping sauces which both elevated the experience. One of the sauces was mustard based and amazing. Overall good food at a fair price for lunch. I have not tried dinner yet.

Everything I've had has been delicious! Always ask for the special of the day! I recently had a lamb sandwich lunch special that was excellent. My favorite is the veggie plate for lunch. The desserts are amazing. Cocktails are spot on! Do yourself a favor and try The Noble South!

From the apps to the dessert, this place doesn’t disappoint. Fantastic flavors, amazing service, and great atmosphere! We were passing through and found this gem, but it’s worth a trip all by itself. Definitely a must! Make sure to save room for a dessert!

Fantastic Dinner, Great Cocktails & Incredible Service

We had a great dinner at The Noble South in Mobile, and I want to call out how exceptional our server, Trent, was. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful the entire evening. He even brought something for our five-year-old daughter to draw with, which not only made her night but also let my wife and me enjoy a relaxed, unrushed meal — a rare win when traveling as a family.

The food was outstanding, the cocktails were excellent, and the whole atmosphere felt inviting and relaxed. Trent’s service really put the experience over the top. We felt taken care of from start to finish.

Highly recommend The Noble South — and if you can, definitely ask for Trent. 👍

We were looking for an excuse do take a road trip from northern Florida to Alabama and once we saw that Noble South in Mobile receiver the 2025 Michelin First place recognition in the American South award, we headed that way. First stop, Noble South was indeed worth the journey. This small, relatively simple setting created food that was most especially wonderful. From the service, to presentation, to variety and to taste; 5 Star for sure. We ordered the chicken liver mouse and the Duck leg confit both of which were well worth the trip. Got an opportunity to spend some time with owner Chris Rainosek and even ventured into the small kitchen to directly thank and congratulate the chiefs for their exemplary creations. This farm to table restaurant in a Southern tradition was a true find and one very worthy of your visit. Tomzi
