Ordered the short ribs with cheesy polenta and broccolinni. It was average. Actual short ribs had good flavor, but polenta was mixed with the gravy from the shortrib in an iron skillet and polenta was basically swimming in liquid gravy. Broccolinni was severely undercooked, not soft at all. Atmosphere is nice as the restaurant is in the Renaissance hotel. Went here to celebrate anniversary with my wife, and Hannah our server wasn't very good. 0 drink suggestions, 0 food suggestions, never offered dessert, we had to ask for it. It was obvious she didn't want to be there. She was more interested in doing her closing side work instead of being attentive. We expected a better experience for our anniversary dinner. We probably wouldn't ever return and I definitely wouldn't recommend. There are restaurants in the area with better food and more attentive service.
Wife and I both had the petite tenderloin filet. You get 2 about the size of a crab cake. Coked perfectly. The accompanying vegetables were so tasteful and plentiful. It was a great meal. However the 'bread' left a lot to be desired. Was not expecting such a spicy taste and together with the tomato garnish was just too much hot taste. A good focaccia with olive oil would have been better. A spicy taste will ruin a good whiskey taste. Still a great meal.
Great but tables are on the smaller size of you are going panning to bring iPad for business meeting
Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed the special cocktails. The food was great as was the service.
The sausage rigatoni is wonderful. The service is top notch. Great place to go for Italian food.
Staying at Battle House and was told by the front desk while checking in that the breakfast buffet was free for Bonvoy members. 25 bucks plus tax was charged to our rooms. Discussed with front desk staff, but they wouldn't reverse charges since we didn't know the name of the person who told us. Very disappointed...would not have had the buffet if we had known it was not free...it was ok but not worth $25.
Fantastic breakfast hotel experience All is good But the waitress told me to try the pancakes because they were the best pancake she had ever had And I fully agreed with her assessment, I would go back to have these pancakes
The lemon ricotta ice cream with the balsamic drizzle (not the pearls those were gross) was the best thing on the menu and they replaced it with a cherry (I love cherries) cheese something ice cream and it is the grossest ice cream ever. Why does everyone take the best items off their menus and always replace it with something no good....disappointing. Even their tiramisu and cheesecake is different than the original they had 2 years ago it's still good but not as good. Bring back the lemon ricotta balsamic creamed ice! Their food food is amazing. Service is great!
Wife, Kids & I have been to MANY fine restaurants all over and this one by far is the best bang for your buck $. Food was delicious, great presentation, and price was exactly what we expected. I’ve paid a lot more for way worse. Great job!!!
Service is impeccable. Food is unique & thoughtfully designed. Prices are on point for value

Hanna is the best waitress!!!!
I wasn't impressed with the food. The marinara sauce was tasteless and the tapanade was too garlicky. I ordered the lasagna and it was burnt on the bottom. The meals were overpriced.
The atmosphere was the saving grace of the breakfast
It’s a low end Hilton breakfast in nice surroundings
The bacon and sausage have nitrates
The eggs are not cage free
The milk is from glenview farms ( not organic )
There was no tea nor raw sugar
The server used poor grammar
Food: Caprese salad with burrata and heirloom tomatoes—when will I learn?—heirloom tomatoes sound so delicious and are so disappointingly mushy and tasteless—these were no exception. My advice—if you see heirloom tomatoes on a menu—skip them. And the current fascination with burrata is puzzling—a caprese salad is best with fresh mozzarella—burrata is too mushy for this purpose. Entree was tasty tenderloin medallions with gnocchi and asparagus—ok! Service: personable and professional even so late at night. The waitress was most attentive which I appreciated. Had an interesting conversation with her. She was saying that there were very few patrons which was extremely unusual for a Saturday night. I was surprised since when I reserved on Open Table, there were no reservations between 5:15 and 8:30 pm which would indicate a fully booked restaurant. Wonder how many patrons didn't come because of that A glitch in the system? Maybe management should take a look. Ambience: Well, disappointing. A beautiful room architecturally in a historic hotel, but with the panache of a tacky cafeteria. Where were the white table cloths, flowers and little lamps? And why were the chandeliers on full bright instead of dimmed for fine dining? Value: An expensive meal with mushy tomatoes in a tacky cafeteria atmosphere. Sigh.
Chose this location for a special family gathering. Brunch was excellent as were the tasty drinks. Only hick-up was the wait staff was a little thin but they handled the situation very well. Highly recommended!!
