Our server was not very attentive , when we pointed out one menu had a different menu altogether instead of switching it out she stated “ it's the same menu “ you can still order from the other ones” she kept rushing the bread service , the food itself was very mid and the pasta was actually under cooked ( not al dente ) almost raw will definitely not be returning

We thoroughly enjoyed or breakfast buffet as there were many choices of well prepared breakfast choices. The cut fruit was actually my favorite choice as melons, blackberries, strawberries and grapes were elegantly displayed, fresh and flavorful. Eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits were warm and well prepared. The coffee was supplied warm and fresh as the wait staff kept our cups full. The atmosphere and decor was absolutely wonderfully relaxing with southern charm in every detail. We will return.

We were here for Christmas. 2:30 seating. Horrible service, awful food. Can’t believe we spent $400 on this for the family, it was such a disappointment. Every server looked miserable and someone kept cleaning plates and stacking them on a tray right next to my head the whole time.

Came in for Christmas. Let me Preface this with the ending of a $180 tab. Keep that in mind

From the lobby to the ballroom, every-ring is stunning. It was so gorgeously decorated for Christmas. My husband and I were super excited to dine here. This was our Christmas gift to each other this year, instead of presents. It was also a celebration for his birthday.

Gary who I made the reservation through (very nice) asked if there was anything about the reservation worth noting and I did tell him it was his birthday and if we could do something a little special for him and Gary assured me he would take care of that.
I also emailed in and was assured this would happen as well.

We were seated in the crystal ballroom, and unfortunately it was at table38 or 28 I believe but it was the table directly next to the server station where they take the dirty plates and glasses.
And this is where we would get to listen to the employees talk poorly about their tables for the duration of our brunch here, including our own sever.

The food selection was mediocre at best. The summer squash lasagna was probably the best thing we tried. You could tell the food had been sitting out for a long time. The lamb was decent as well. Unfortunately none of the deserts were labeled so we couldn’t try anything due to an allergy.

All in all we had 2 mimosas each and one plate of food. Our waitress couldn’t have been bothered. Our glasses sat empty the majority of our time there. No one seemed remotely like they wanted to be there staff wise. I get it, it’s Christmas… but when we’re spending $240 on brunch and we get this experience, it’s so disappointing. We ended up coming home to Chinese take out after our time here.

Oh and no one acknowledged my husbands birthday.

Date night with my wife and it was a beautiful evening. Service, food and atmosphere were perfect. Highly recommend!

It was fine. But there's something very important in my opinion: the photos posted here on OpenTable and the actual food don't match. So I think you really need to address that issue, because the menu and the food are very different.

The food was delicious! Great service and as guests of the hotel it was nice to have such a special meal without leaving the property.

Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. She made the dining experience great with her recommendations and help. This was our anniversary and she made everything extremely special.

What a lovely brunch experience at the beautiful Trellis Room. Food was really good, and service was impeccable. Shout out to Jennifer, our server, and Olga, the hostess. Valets were a little slow on the uptake, but other than that it was a great experience. We'll be back!

We took the Amtrak Mardi Gras from New Orleans to Mobile for a quick weekend trip. We stayed at The Battle House Hotel and ate Saturday night at the The Trellis Room. From the moment we sat down the service, cocktails, and food were fabulous. The ambiance was very romantic, however there were groups or friends, families, as well as couples in there when we ate. We had the mussels and the pork belly for appetizers. The pork belly was amazing. For dinner I had the Wild Mushroom Alfredo Tagliatelle. It was rich and creamy and the mushrooms were perfect. They asked if I wanted to add a protein but I declined. I'm not sure if it would have made it better. My husband had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin Filets. It was cooked perfectly and the vegetables that came with it were so good. His old fashions were really good and my dirty martini was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a birthday dinner here last Saturday and it was amazing! Our waitress was extremely attentive and went out of her way to make my special day as special as possible. The food was spectacular as well, I specifically the muscles. If you’re ever in downtown Mobile I highly suggest this place

The Trellis Room was awesome! Located in the hotel, convenient after a long travel day, yet lovely atmosphere. Italian, all ingredients were fresh and service very good as expected being in the South.
