Honestly, we had a rough start at Battlehouse. Valet to front desk were trying the best. Anyways weekend was fine. Mobile was so so. Trellis was on point. Leo remembered us, that was a plus to feel like we were kinda welcomed there. Rachel was a great server. She actually smiled, loved that. Things are within walking distance but choose to eat here instead. Thanks.

Everything about our experience was top notch except for our server. She seemed a bit inexperienced. She had to check with the kitchen about substitutes for pasta and when I asked her if there were substitutes she acted a little unsure and asked me to clarify if I didn't want pasta. Myself and my partner also thought we did not have the level of attention we would expect for the quality of restaurant we were in. Our water glasses were never refilled. She did check on us a couple times but not nearly as much as my date thought appropriate. She could use some training we both felt. Her demeanor was always pleasant and kind so she has the personality to do the job well, for sure. The ambiance, hostess, quality of food, and general decor were all first rate.

Our waitress Jennifer was very polite,and knowledgeable. This was me and my wife's 12th year anniversary,and we'd never been to The Trellis Room. We where very pleased with not only our server but the quality of the food was Top Tier. We will definitely be back,and thank you for making our anniversary dinner a beautiful memory...... The BEST breakfast buffet in Mobile!!! It is in the beautiful Battlehouse Hotel. Pancakes are out of this world. We come every year for Mardi Gras and make sure to have breakfast here. Ms. Olga makes sure you feel like home here. Breanna was our lovely server. Keep it up. See you again next year!

We tried to go here for a nice dinner. There weren't a lot of vegan options, except a speciality made salad and some veggies that they said they could give you. The lady honestly said it wasn't worth it so we decided not to eat there. The place was really nice and you can tell it would be a great place to dine.

The Trellis room has a very nice atmosphere and is a great venue. In addition to the great food the history associated with the Battle house is very interesting. The service was great and the staff was very nice. It was a great experience and we will visit again.

Excellent experience. We had a family if 5. Cuisine was spot on all the way around from taste to presentation. Had the bronzino. Others in my party had the scallops and lasagna. Friendly and professional wait staff. Beautiful ornate dining room. Not loud so you can actually have a conversation across the table.
Friendly and professional service. The food was excellent. I recommend the short ribs with polenta. Make sure you have some patience because this is not fast food. This is a luxury that is cooked to order, and it is well worth the time. Come in with good company and enjoy a glass of wine, the decor, and some good conversation while your meal is being prepared by professionals.
My husband and I had a fantastic time eating here. He ordered the ricotta lasagna, and I ordered some type of seafood pasta. Both were delicious! The complimentary valet parking was a plus, I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Too much salt on the short rib vegetable. But the main issue for me was that I had reservations for 2 @6PM. The hostage sat us right next to another occupied table, just adjacent to the kitchen, despite my request for a table that sat empty, as did many others, not right next to another occupied table, for all of at least 90% of the time we dined. Tables that were not right next to another table. Even after the manager? moved us, in answer to my requaest, two tables over, she then sat another party next to us, leaving the table we left open. It appears that Trellis is more concerned with their needs than those of the customer.

I, along with friends loved the ambience. I ordered the caprese salad and tenderloins. My salad was horrible. It was nothing like expected. The tenderloins I ordered (medium rare), were over-cooked. The server brought me another plate, but, by the time it arrived, my dinner guests were finished with their meal. My guests ordered the ceasar salad that came with 2 leaves of wilted romaine lettuce. My guest's were very disappointed. They each ordered the chicken parmasan. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. However, the pasta that was served with their dinner was about the size of my pinky finger in diameter. It too was really bad and extremely under cooked. We were all disappointed in the meal. The presentation was good, but lacked "that special" look. For the price of our meal along with a couple glasses of wine, should be of excellent quality. In my opinion, the restaurant should replace the current chef.

One of the best restaurant experiences I had in Mobile. Located inside the battle house some of the best food and drinks we had on the gulf coast. Went on a Thursday (date night). Service was amazing food came out quick. If you’re visiting or a local you need to stop and check them out. Our waitress Rachel was amazing.
