“I was surprised at the nice selection of entrees and vegetables. Favorites such as chicken fingers, fries, and pizza were also available. Everything was seasoned well and had good flavor. There was a fresh fruit and salad bar that was of high quality. A few different dessert options were also available, so I sampled the peach cobbler parfait and oatmeal raisin cookies. Both were very tasty. There was a large selection of fountain drinks and juices. Everything was modern and clean and very comfortable. It was the best dining hall food I've ever had and was better than most buffets and cafeterias I've been too. UM students are fortunate to have such a great dining hall. I would go back in a minute.“
“A new dining experience in Montevallo! We've eaten here for a lunch and a dinner and both meals were well-prepared and quite tasty. Generous portions and a friendly wait staff. The environment is more up-scale than the other venues in town. Antique bar available for patrons and no TV's as a distraction. Highly recommend!“
“I am never disappointed when I eat here. The ladies are so friendly and the food is always delicious. We've eaten at this huddle house at least every couple weeks for a number of years now. They do get slammed, but the workers do everything they can and they deserve your patience, not your scorn, for wanting 5 take out orders for pancakes and bacon on Christmas day (see 1 star review for example) and getting pissy when it takes over 45 minutes when the restaurant is jammed full of customers inside. “Everything was fantastic! Really! Great! We came here on date night. My wife had been here before with a friend and she recommended it to me. I have been around many food places in Shelby county, yet I have not been terribly impressed. The night we came the atmosphere was nice and comfy. Its the kind of place both adults and kids would like, so it is good for families. There is a good drink selection for adults. The atmosphere is a bar & grill environment as the name suggests, yet the food is better than many bar & grills I've been too. Truly. I ordered the Ribeye and it was tasty! I have been to several places and got a steak in the Birmingham area and I thought this was just as good as some of the best places. Even more, the price is right! A steak of that size would be more expensive at a fancy steakhouse, yet many that I've been to have not been this good. The sides, too, were very good. I got greens and the baked potato. My wife got the redneck chicken and the fries. It was all good. We had a lot of fun. The live music was good too! The nice thing was that it was not too loud. The owner and the manager came by and they were very friendly. We learned a lot from them and they were fun! Katie was the owner. She's awesome! We hit it off with her. She is high energy and we connected with her in several ways. Liz was our server. She was great! She was on top of things and attentive to us. She talked to us at the beginning and really made us feel welcome and appreciated. She was fun and on top of things. I can't emphasize enough how much I liked it. This is one of my new favorite places to eat and have a good time. We will be going back for date night and for a family outing. I really liked this place. I was surprised at how much I liked it. Oh I almost forgot to mention the fried banana pudding. It was great! And, the owner took the time to make it even better by adding some walnuts to it.Parking: no problemsKid-friendliness: It seems to be quite kid-friendly unless late at night probably.“
“Our party of 2 came for a later lunch on a Tuesday, about 12:45-1 pm. We were seated immediately. Our server was great, never forgetting to bring anything, never disappearing for long periods of time. Of course, the bread they bring is amazing. Potato soup is really good. Today, we split the spinach dip-so good- and the chicken tenders and fries. We had tons of food left. I think their chicken tenders are some of the best around. They are seasoned really well, and so are the fries. We got the 6-count tenders but ate some before I snapped a pic because I was so excited!“
“What's better than a hot dog from Sneaky Pete's???A hot dog from Sneaky Pete's and a taco from Cantina Grill. You might come for the hot dogs but you will soon see the expansive menu. Along with the standard Sneaky Pete's delicious hot dogs and breakfast items, you will also find a host of classic Mexican fare.It is a true hidden gem inside of a gas station. There's a small area inside where you can sit and eat. I enjoy the option of mobile ordering with the pickup window when time is limited. The staff is beyond phenomenal with little to no wait times. I'd definitely recommend this place 10x over!“

“Stopped in here while I was out for a walk around the village. Ordered a Slaw Dog. The service was friendly, helpful to a first time customer (I couldn't find the napkins) and the place was clean. The Slaw dog is a hot dog with yellow mustard and cole slaw on top. I ordered one but two would have been better! I love hot dogs. liked it here.“
“This place is consistent as all get out. I wouldn't say it's five-star, but everyone is friendly, and the food is cooked and seasoned incredibly well. They do one of the best tamales I've had from a quick-stop type place. Corn husks, and everything.Their chicken fingers are pretty good, and their burgers aren't half bad. Their fries are always crisp.“
“Great service. Large portions and yummy food. Great beer selection. Friendly staff. Wish we lived closer but only passing through. Definitely glad we stop in when we do drive through town.Happened to be passing thru again and had to stop for dinner. Love the staff, food and atmosphere. Can't wait til next time.“
