Our family has patronized this establishment for many years without disappointment. Unfortunately, our support ended today when our server refused to wait on us. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone, as there is no excuse to willfully ignore patrons.

You gotta love this local unassuming seafood joint, it’s straight forward, nothing fancy, sitting alone on the side of the road, but this is when you don’t judge the book by its cover The oyster is fresh and the service is friendly, you pay for the quality of food and none of the rent or decor or franchise fee, oh yeah!

Food is pretty good, but the staff.. establishment.. is a "little" racist. There was a piece hair on my plate... it very well could have fallen out of my head, but instead of the waitress trying to make it right she wanted to say " I honestly don't think it came from our staff... no one back there has black hair"..... like what!!

Texas baked oysters were awesome! Jalapeño, cheese n bacon on top. Service was awesome also.
Best hushpuppies I ever had. They are flavorful, bite sized and perfectly cooked. Most places they are over cooked, not here! All other food we got was great also. Nice little spot that the locals know is a gem.

2nd time dining at this quaint establishment. Food is good and the servers friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back soon. Also, Cole Slaw is very good - no sugar added. I can't stand it when sugar is added to Cole Slaw and theirs doesn't have it in it..

Stopped in with a friend of mine after a short day at work... Was kinda early (4pm), had some oysters on the half shell , and a cold cocktail... Going back as soon as I can with the hubby ? and more friends

LOVE LOVE LOVE Aw Shucks!! My favorite restaurant in the river region! Their raw oysters are the best, the fried crab claws are to die for, and their gator bites are back and so delicious!! I eat here every chance I get!! Highly recommend!! Ask for Katlyn or Julie, they are sweethearts!!
