Recently in the Montgomery/Prattville area for work. We travel around a lot and eating breakfast at chains gets old and I prefer to support small businesses. This place is a small hole in the wall but don't let that fool you . Upon arrival I knew it would be good because it was packed . As soon as I walked the atmosphere put a big smile on my face . The service was great and the food was delicious!!

This place has been a staple in the neighborhood for years. This place continues to have great quality as well as quantity. Parking is a little is a little tight, but worth it.

First time visiting and the food was delicious. The owner, Mr. Larry came out from the back to greet and welcome to his establishment. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely visit BG's again.

Visiting Montgomery AL and found this local restaurant. Building looks terrible, I could not find the sanitation grade. We sat at the counter and ate while swaddling flies. Food was quick and good then later that evening stomach pain really bad. I had the bacon, pork sausage, eggs and grits and my husband pancakes, fried chicken and eggs. Wonโ€™t be visiting again.

I live out of state, and every time we come to Montgomery our first stop from the airport and last stop before we leave is BARBARA GAIL'S!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! The shrimp & grits are a must !! They now except credit and debit. And as an added bonus, the street they are located on is part of the historic route from The March From Selma. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. , Rev. Jesse Jackson, and civil rights leader John Lewis were among the leaders who participated in the march.
