The food was amazing but the male server that my group had was not very attentive to the table we had to keep to keep trying to get his attention for water, napkins, condiments, to go plates, and finally our check. Let’s start off with this. The floors when I came in were extremely STICKY! My chair at my table I sat at was kinda stuck to the floor it was that bad. You could hear the stickiness walking and trying to move the chair. Your feet stuck if you didn’t move them after awhile. Bathroom was dirty and had an odd smell to it (and no not that kind of smell). Service is slow. Restaurant smelled a bit odd too honestly. No waffles due to the machine being down? Pancakes were burnt. Food had no taste at all. French toast was burnt as well. Grits seemed to be smashed rice instead.. Sweet tea was decent, but seemed to be boiled a bit too long? Kinda tasted like the grounds were burned. Overall, 2/10. I definitely wouldn’t go back.

My family ate here this morning and we were just as impressed as we were during the grand-opening. Our food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The waitress Dinah was so sweet, we truly enjoyed her, and we look forward to visiting again.
We got there at 11:30 and ended up leaving at 1:30. When we got there we were told 20 minute wait or we could sit outside w the humane society dogs. We got outside but the wind was so bad our menus kept flying into the road. So we went inside and asked for a seat they said 30 minutes. So we agreed. We went to our car and waited 45 minutes and never got a call or text, we went inside to get an update and waited 10 minutes for someone to check on us at the front desk. They finally came by and checked and we had to wait another 10 minutes for a table. The tables were available but just weren’t clean. Once the host went by and cleaned it we were seated immediately. So that was disappointing. When we were sat we got our order for drinks taken quickly but it took 20 minutes for our drinks to get there and the coffee was actually fairly cold. We ordered food right afterwards and the food took another 20 minutes which was fine time wise for food but when it got to us the only thing warm between the two plates was my grits. Everything else was very cold and eggs were wet. Just a really bad experience overall for something I was excited for. Also it was only small scratches on my hand but the long bench on the end when someone sits on it raises on the other end and the wood scratched up my hand, it would be pretty bad for a child or older person especially if someone sat closer to the other side.
