I love the food here. I've been eating here for years. My only issue is I have to wait for my food to cook every single time I come here. I'm on the go all the time, so I call and order my food ahead a lot. But that defeats the purpose of me calling if they don't cook it until I get there and pay in person. They need to tighten up on that.

East China just hits the spot when you’re on the hunt for Chinese food. The service is good and the restaurant is never terribly crowded, never dirty and most importantly the food is great. I recommend this restaurant!
Love this place my daughter use to work when she was a teen . Restaurant is family own I love the family and watched the kids grow up just as well as they watch my babies grow up. Nice ! I ordered takeout and when I got there to pick up my order 20 mins later, they had no record of it. The lady pulled out her phone and argued with me saying I didn't place an order. After a few back and forths with her, the order came through on her phone. I told her nevermind and left.

***update still on the hunt for a regular Chinese spot. Sad day because we love this place but they use MSG, I had no idea any restaurants still used MSG. But unfortunately the affects are not worth their yummy food. ?This was the third Chinese restaurant we have tried in Montgomery and it’s by far the best. Happy to have found a consistently good favorite. We have really liked everything we have tried so far. Wonton soup, hot and sour soup, best wontons, lo-mein chicken and shrimp, generals and sesame chicken, fried dumplings, spring rolls, everything has been so good. We have been back now several times.
