Food was very good but it took a while to get our food. A bit disappointed that when we asked for a corn muffin rather than a bun when our food was delivered, the waitress said the turkey plate comes with a bun, and walked away. So I guess it's too much to have a corn muffin
We love a good BBQ and we pass by this place quite often and have been wanting to try and today, we decided to stop. What a shame. Smelled good outside.. got a 2 meat plate. Almost $30 which is a bit absurd but even more so given the food we received. Brisket was some of the toughest brisket we have ever had. Pork was dry. Glad they gave us extra BBQ to get some moisture in there. Mac and cheese and beans were as basic as they come. Overall - pretty disappointed with the food....
I think I will most likely continue to pick up take out from this restaurant. The food is great, and I guess if you want good food on a budget this is your place. The fact that you eat with plastic utensils, and clean your own plates off, and stand in line to pay before you eat makes it a cheaper way to dine, but I just find that annoying.
