I've never had a bad meal here. Been coming to Island Delight for over 10 years. It gets pretty busy now but I'm glad more people are coming. Brought my uncle here for a meal, he loved the food. I almost always get the oxtails because they're just that good. But this time I tried the curry chicken and I was really good.

In town for a graduation and stopped for some dinner at this great spot. Food was authentic and delicious and our waitress Cat was the best. Will definitely come back.

Another fantastic lunchtime find right outside Maxwell AFB. Classic meat and 3; I had j*** chicken, a longtime favorite. The place is a bit "divey" but charming enough to overcome its modest presentation. Counter service; glad I beat the rush!
Fantastic j*** chicken. So much flavor! Rice and beans were great, along with the plantains and potato salad. Very nice people. They clearly love their food, as it was exceptional

My family and I just arrived to Montgomery and we stopped at Island Delight because it's right outside Maxwell AFB. Unfortunately, the food was very mediocre. We ordered the j*** and curry chicken....it was just good; nothing special.
