I’ve gone to La Jolla twice in the past month and had an awesome server, Asher. The food and service have been great both times.
On my first visit, the dining room and bar were full, so the host took my number and called me when a table became available. I enjoyed the grilled lamb small plate on that visit.

We just had a really awkward experience at La Jolla. My husband was taking me on a Mother’s Day Weekend Date Night. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:02pm and walked to the door. The door said that the establishment was open from “4pm - until” so we assumed we were good to go. When we walked in, there was no hostess at the door so we continued on and walk towards the bar.
