I ordered a taco salad with chicken. The entire bottom of the shell was wet, and soggy. Barley any lettuce, and the salsa was watery with no taste. Wasn't worth $10.65. I'll never order food here again.

This place was fairly decent in years past but the last visit sadly will be the very last. All of the food lacked seasoning, extremely bland. Nothing was appetizing due to the lack of flavor. Sad... very cool location but much better tasting food at virtual any other Mexican restaurant. I really could believe that people were seemingly happy to eat "nursing home" food.

It was a cold, gloomy, and cloudy day, and my group was looking for a cozy place. La Zona Rosa offered prompt friendly service. While we waited we snacked on very light and crispy tortilla chips; the salsa was perfect (not too watery or chunky).I had the black bean soup and a side of Mexican street corn. I love black bean soup and this was perfect. Simple broth (chicken?), which by itself was ok. But when I added the pico del gallon and avocado slices it really came together. The tortilla strips finished it off for a tasty filling meal that I recommend. Others had a veggie quesadilla, chicken soup, and beef street tacos. Very large menu with wide range of Latin flavors, from fried plantains to Lengua tacos. I definitely want to go back and try some other flavors.

Tacos (Chorizo, Shrimp, Al Pastor) were excellent, rapid efficient service at the bar. Draft DOS X beer was perfect temperature as well. 10/10!

I had the Campechano & Carne Asada street tacos and they tasted bland and were overcooked. The pico was ruff chopped in large pieces The only thing that was good was the cheese dip and guacamole.

Simply delightful - the best cheese dip and queadillas in the area. As someone who no longer lives in the south, I can vouch for this place being what I crave when I’m home to visit. It might be a stretch, but even someone from Kansas City would appreciate what this place represents to so many in Montgomery. Well done.

Our family are frequent visitors here, and although we may be biased coming from a big city, we love it here. We love the food and service is always great! There is never a long wait time. I would say the salsa is usually very extremely mild, we always order the spicier salsas with our chips. And there are no diaper changing stations or family restrooms. The bathrooms are small and cramped, but always clean and stocked. I would recommend parents to definitely consider that when bringing their little ones. Atmosphere wise, music and decor are authentic to Latino culture, it does bring an ambiance of home, so it's greatly appreciated. Margaritas are amazing and decently priced as well. Overall, very good place, parents just be mindful of the bathroom concerns.

Love their Jalapeño sides. As a spicy food lover I go their just because of Jalapeño sides. Perfectly roasted with some seasoning and lemon. That adds up too good taste with any regular dishes.

The salsa was tomato flavored, like no salsa should taste, at least authentic. I ordered the Torta Asada and it Had no taste, or flavor .... waste of my money and time . I've eaten all over since I travel for work and this was by far the most bland tasting mexican restaurant. And it's over priced for the poor quality they

This place was a hit! I highly recommend if you are in Montgomery to check it out! The food was flavorful and the drinks were on point! We tried the Bonita Margarita who's is on the sweet side and it was as beautiful as the menu mentions! The service was great and our waitress answered all our questions! I highly recommend the queso add avocado and pico, the mix and match to create your own with the Elote Loco, pupusa and flaunta! I wasn't a huge fan of the burrito meal I think it was just a taste preference, but everything else was outstanding.
