The food was great. OUR SERVER was amazing, however another member of staff was completely unprofessional and ridiculous. He screamed and jumped at my 4 year old son while we were on the way back from the bathroom. Our server apologized on his behalf, however, that should never happen and is unacceptable. Hope he was disciplined accordingly.

Delicious! Fantastic old school home made Italian food. It was awesome to find a place with great food and drinks.

Great location, service, and atmosphere with AMAZING food! Worth the wait! We had the spicy shrimp appetizer, pasta bolognese with Sunday Sauce, and lobster ravioli. Everything was delicious! Looking forward to returning for another meal!

Jimmy was super cool and we were blessed that he took care of us through our experience at SaZa!

We enjoyed an abundant serving of Grandma small chopped salad! Yes that photo is a small! I heard a few other people in the restaurant comment to the same. We weren’t about to complain though as it was just what we needed with fresh veggies and the Gorgonzola dressing was epic! We then moved on to our entree of the Rigatoni Bolognese adding meatballs. There was a hint of sweetness that we got from the cognac and cream! The Sunday gravy component was amazing. I wish that we could have taken a jar of it with us. My husband asked today if I thought we maybe able to duplicate. We maybe able to get close but I double if we could duplicate.

The atmosphere was comfortable and upscale without being stuffy while also a laidback bar feel where others could watch the World Cup while enjoying a pizza and beer. By the way, we watched a pizza go by our table and almost snatched a piece. It looked and smelled amazing.

If we are ever back in Montgomery we’ll be back and would recommend to others. Thanks Blake at the Doubletree Hotel for the recommendation!!

I had a very disappointing experience with the bartender during my visit. I ordered a single slice of meat lovers pizza and was not informed that it was not available by the slice. Instead, I was told they would “get close to it.”
When the pizza arrived, it was clearly just a pepperoni slice with large pieces of sausage and ham added on top. The added toppings were only warm and appeared not to have been heated properly in the oven with the pizza.
I politely asked if I could simply have a pepperoni slice instead. The bartender responded in a rude and aggressive manner, grabbing my plate abruptly. There was no reason for that level of hostility over a simple request.
Customer service should always be respectful and professional. In today’s climate, aggressive behavior toward customers is completely unacceptable. I will be notifying management of this experience and, unfortunately, I will not be returning.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this restaurant strives for excellence, and for the most part, it succeeds. The dining room strikes a comfortable balance between sophistication and warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere that complements the menu's ambitious offerings.

The food is undoubtedly the star of the experience. Each dish was thoughtfully presented, showcasing quality ingredients and careful attention to detail. The flavors were well-balanced, and several menu items demonstrated genuine creativity without becoming overly complicated. The kitchen clearly understands both technique and restraint.

Service was professional and attentive throughout the evening. Staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations with confidence. While a few minor delays prevented the experience from feeling completely seamless, they were not significant enough to detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Where the restaurant falls just short of five-star territory is consistency. A handful of dishes lacked the same level of execution as the standouts, and certain elements felt slightly overpriced relative to the portion size. However, these shortcomings are minor when weighed against the restaurant's many strengths.

Overall, this is a destination worthy of its reputation and a restaurant that delivers a memorable dining experience. With exceptional food, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere, it earns a strong 4 out of 5 stars. I would gladly return and recommend it to anyone seeking a quality dining experience.

Our waiter was Dillon. He was really nice. Food was excellent. Meatballs are amazing. I don't like spinach, artichoke dip, but I loved theirs. Definitely will go again.

Great food if in downtown Montgomery. Caprese salad, eggs in purgatory and seafood Alfredo were all on point.
