Shashy's Bakery and Fine Foods

I travel in for business and have been by the building before but usually when they are closed. I happened to be in town for lunch and stopped. The menu looking really good making it a little difficult to decide, but ultimately went with the Market Vegetable plate with meatloaf. The veggies were very fresh, not overly seasoned, and the meatloaf was great with fresh tomatoes, unlike any I’ve had before. I hope to catch a dinner and sample more options on the menu.

Lemon pie and chicken cheese biscuit definitely recommended and the service from Angel was great!

Food was delicious! I’m a salmon snob and I have only great things to say about the salmon salad! My kids enjoyed their hamburgers and each commented on the yummy homemade buns. The service was TOP NOTCH! Owner came out to chat and was a great host with the staff. They even sent us on the road with DELICIOUS chocolate chip cookies. This kind of service leaves a great taste in one’s mouth, both literally and figuratively!

This place is wonderful! Cute patio, great vibe inside, amazing pastries and food with real love! Decent prices too for the food you get. Amazing Rueben sandwhich and all their food looked sooooo good! Parking is tight but we found a spot quick! The staff here was also so so sweet, if Im ever back in the area I'm absolutely coming back!

Gorgeous cafe inside. Beautiful chandeliers. I wish I could’ve gotten a pic of the display case. I’ve never seen one so empty. I went on a Thursday at 11:00am and there were 3 items: 2 trays of the same kind of cookies that appeared to be pecan sandies, 1 tray of baklava, & 2 individual cupcakes with hot pink icing. Definitely not the typical display case of most bakeries I’ve been too. I was super sad. It’s possible my expectations weren’t in alignment with the establishment’s menu, but I looked everything up before going. Maybe their main focus is on the fine foods part & not so much the bakery part? Either way, it’s really beautiful in here, but maybe check around at other option if you’re looking for a bakery with options in the display case.

My wonderful husband just came home with a tomato pie!!! It is perfect . Would recommend to everyone. Thank you Shashy's for the delicious pie!!

Shashy’s catered our lunch yesterday. So good! The tenderloin was amazing, as was everything else but I need that tenderloin again!

I was only a little ashamed my first visit I just ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was good though and service was nice. I would like to try their breakfast and some other lunch offerings but prefer being more adventurous if I'm eating with company. Might need to take the wife on a date.

Comfort meets class, good service and a smile are not missed either; this is well worth the stop to grab a lunch and relax. The food was amazing, wonderful, plentiful and this list could go on forever. I will return. Prices are very reasonable too.

High end dishes for affordable prices.

Loved my fried green tomato BLT from here! They were close to closing and were still very friendly and accommodating! Will return!
