I’d give it five stars just for THE Breakup Cookie. A delicious, perfectly crispy yet chewy, luscious blend of rich dark chocolate and sea salt, it’s definitely one of the best cookies in Birmingham. Worth a trip if you’ve never been, and I’m sure the coffee is just wonderful but that’s not why I go 😂🍪
Church Street Coffee & Books is the coziest spot in Birmingham! Their cortado was fabulous, and the community was wholesome. Their breakup cookies are so delicious, too! The vibe of the café is warm and inviting, and it’s the perfect place to settle down to study or chat with a friend while looking through books. I had a dirty chai tea latte, a little sweet but great taste. The baked goods were delicious, I tried 3 different ones. Staff were friendly and the place is really cute in a nice part of town.
