Tried getting takeout but no one will answer the phone

I did not visit the restraunt but the catering food we ate tonight was so disappointing. I had the chicken, shrimp, fries, 2 hush puppies and cold slaw. The fries were some of the worst I’ve had in years. They were cold, hard and had zero flavor. The chicken looked to be frozen and appeared to be two different brands of chicken. The shrimp had zero flavor and were overcooked. The slaw was the best part of the entire meal. The food was for a fund raiser and in the future I’ll donate money and pass on the food. I tried calling the restraunt 3 different times during business hours but couldn’t get anyone on the phone so I guess the review will have to work. I’m attaching the picture of food to validate my review.

Get the key lime pie! Pretty good hush puppies too. Their house sauce goes well with anything. Price is good. They do not skimp on the seasoning! Delicous. Om nom very good.

The food was great, the order process was fast and the employee was very polite. The atmosphere is building, the entire time in the drive thru and I did pre order as I rolled my window down my interior was immediately covered in flies. The building has terrible curb appeal and in much need of a facelift. The menu board is covered in homemade signs and tape from old signs. They are a great business but if they continue to neglect their presence. They may see some major decline. I have 27 years of experience in restaurants and I call what I see. I hope they get this stuff fixed and I might go back. It's your money and not mine, much 🤞 luck in the future I hope.

My husband and I ordered Doordash and even though they were out of blackened fish for the fish tacos (my husband got fried) everything was delicious! The whole catfish was so good and the fish tacos were really good as well! The slaw was also delicious!

If I could give negative stats I would. Ordered door dash. Got to restaurant after allotted time. Waited 30 minutes. I’m leaving without my food. Never back here again. Pitiful is an understatement

Great food & clean place. Only thing that I have to mention negative is the hours posted on the door 🚪 read 9pm is closing & it's 8pm. I recommend changing that posted

March 2, between two and three…The cook had a very nasty attitude when my 89yr. aunt requested a small order of baked beans to go. My aunt did not want the plastic container of beans to go but requested a half portion of beans in a styrofoam cup /container. The cook became very belligerent and made rude comments that other people at the counter could over hear.
To keep the situation to a minimum all she could have done was explain to the customer that she was not able to for-fill her request due to restaurant rules and regulations. Instead she treated her like an inconvenience.
