Alley Cake helped me with a baby shower cake and it was scrumptious. We did a chocolate tier and a vanilla tier to appease everyone at the shower and both cake flavors were delicious!

My kinda place! I am one who loves my sweet treats. Many tempting choices so I got a small box to enjoy for a few days. Sarah was a delight to engage in conversation about her treats and story. She is more than a baker, she is an artist. True mom and pop shop baking with love and passion and it shows. Noticeable was the consistent stream of repeat customers who were mostly there to pick up the artistic treats for parties. For me, I’m just looking to find tasty treats and I love finding food and baked items that are unusual or something typical that’s next level good and this is that kinda place. Also saw a very cozy room to sit and enjoy the treats. I was very tempted by the fresh bread fun flavors (apple/ pecan & lemon/blueberry) on the table. However, I selected some cookies and bar items. I love a brownie with frosting and nuts but this one was unique and next level amazing. I asked what the white was below the frosting and learned she had added a marshmallow layer with ganache. 😳😋😎 Sooo good. Best brownie ever! Dream bar was also beet yummy. Red velvet cookie was absolutely delicious and its soft texture was next level. 🤔😊🥳 Eager to treat my wife to the lemon bar and lemon cookie. Not my thing but am confident she will enjoy those as much as I did mine. In my travels, I take great joy in finding “hidden gems” and this is one of them. Literally hidden in an alley behind an inviting street scene. Love this place, the yummy treats and Sarah & family/staff. 😋🥰😊

Went in for one of her world famous lemon bars, but had to settle for a lemon tart cupcake. What a horrible dilemma! Fantastic - as with everything I’ve sampled!!! Service is great, but the banter is sooo fun - great experience and the best baked goods in Alabama. Roll Tide!!!
