Love chongwah. Very sad to come home and see they are closed. This is my golden standard for Chinese food and living in Texas has been tough to find gems close to this locations flavor and service. Know you guys are loved and missed!
Tried this place for the first time today. My only negative is not trying it sooner! Got my order quickly; it was hot and fresh and correct. My food was delicious. I ordered a combo and one of my items was the hot and spicy chicken. It was so good! I will definitely be going back again!
In they heyday of McFarland mall, this was my family's main reason to shop. Sure the little arcade was fun, going to the movies then plodding over to Shoe Station, or Goody's, but Chongwah was always delicious. When the mall started closing down I was nothing but heartbroken to hear of my favorite Chinese food to go along with it. I was more than excited when they set up their own brick and mortar restaurant.
