They have great service and that really is one of the most important things! It was clean. We’ve gone in several restaurants over the years and sat at a dirty table, but not here. The prices are good and so is the selection. The food is just OK. The sweet tea was delicious. All that being said, we would eat B here again because good service goes a really long way.
Stopped by last Friday to grab lunch with my husband. We were seated pretty quick. It took our server a few minutes to come to the table but they were busy so no big deal. I ordered the rib-eye sandwich served w/ fried orka. It was seasoned really well, I just wished it was thicker lol.. He ordered hamburger steak w/gravy, mashed potatoes w/gravy, fried orka & mac n cheese served w/ cornbread.. The orka was fried perfectly, I loved how crispy they were 😋
It's an awesome country diner, I love that the tables aren't too close together. The simplicity of this place is exactly what I love about it. No neon or annoying blinking lights, no dodging incoming traffic, and the ladies taking the orders are always delightful in attitude and conversation. We love the Chicken with Gravy and the Hamburger Steak. Everything we've eaten here was delicious and freshly made. It's my place of preference for a good, wholesome meal!
