Came downtown for lunch only to find several closed restaurants. This was open so tried it. Very enjoyable patio. Great service. Very good food (see pic). Lunch specials plus daily specials. Good quantity. Well priced. We will be back.

We had dinner here with my husband and fiends and our orders were delicious.
I’m super picky with meat and the chimichanga with steak was soooo good, also el pollo fiesta and mango frozen margarita was delicious.

We’ll definitely come back here.

Food is excellent! Lunch specials daily. Service, eh, your lucky if you see your waiter/waitress again before you get your bill. All that aside, I still go at least once a week. Outdoor covered patio. Salsa has a bit of a smokey flavor which is excellent!

Last visit we'll make. It's 2 blocks walking distance from home, but we'll be driving elsewhere from now on. It's always been a little inconsistent, but now it's just usually bad.

Most refreshing little stop on our E-Bike trip in OPELIKA, AL. We often travel around and find little towns and this happened to be right in a family members back door. So close to the historic area of Opelika. There is an active train that runs through downtown still and it’s wonderfully designed as a whole. This restaurant is a common place to find locals from what I hear. The tower drink is a special one I heard from the locals I met. I love this little downtown and there are lots of places around here. The food at Viva La Vida was as expected and fresh. I was surprised at the quality in AL for Mexican food.

The food was pretty good and the service was friendly, but I think the restrooms were the dirtiest I've ever seen in a restaurant. Flies swarming everywhere and stains on the toilets.

Owners LUIS , was very rude. We walked in at about 9:47pm on the website it says close at 10:30, he stated that the drinks were closing in 15 minutes. He didn’t even give us a chance to order at least one drink which it wouldn’t have took them 15 minutes to make 3 drinks .

IF I COULD PUT 0 STARS I WOULD .. I went there with my 7 month old & my mother ! Soon as we got in there , this short . Heavy waitress was RUDE . My mom didn’t like her food and wanted it replaced as soon as they brought it out . It took 20 mins to bring the other food out and she didn’t want it and they tried to charge her for both ! MANAGEMENT is RUDE .. the restaurant is non professional and the food was brought out COLD .NEVER AGAIN
