The place is a joke. Guy was rude. Went in to buy a couple bags of candy. They came out to be a little over a pound. Guy charged me $30.88. When I asked how much a pound he said $15.00/lb. I went back later to check (didn’t want to make a scene, I was with my girl) and the sign said $3.75/lb,

The man behind the counter was so rude and made my daughter cry. I have never been treated so rudely at a candy store. IMean sell something else if you hate kids.Most of the candy disposals were empty.

HIDDEN GEM!! I worked here one summer probably 10 years ago and that is the only reason I knew it existed, but The Sugar Shack is an awesome food spot to check out when you visit The Wharf. They have old school candy, hand dipped ice cream, cake, cookies, truffles, milkshakes and malts, and miscellaneous other sweets. But please do not underestimate the cheeseburger and onion rings especially. The sweet Hawaiian buns make this the best cheeseburger I have ever had in my life. The owner is very active in the business as well and it creates a very homey atmosphere where you are treated like family.Kid-friendliness: The business is directed toward kids and adults.

Went in with my girlfriend on vacation... the guy working the counter is SO RUDE!!! If you're reading this review, save yourself and don't even bother trying to interact with the man working the counter. My girlfriend and I got 2 scoops to share from 1 cup, but we only got one spoon. Naturally, she asked if we could have a second spoon. The man acted as if to give us a second spoon, but instead reached over to give her an extremely small sample spoon. We asked if we could get a bigger spoon, but were responded to with a "NEXT!" My girlfriend then reached on top of the counter to get a spoon herself, then the man working the counter grabbed her hand aggressively (knocking over all the spoons and the cups) and says "MAAM DONT TOUCH THE SPOONS!" We left the building and got my mom involved and she handled the situation. She was also treated rudely, but EVENTUALLY we got a spoon. Never coming here again!!!!!

This was absolutely one of the best hamburgers we have ever had. The flavor was amazing. I had a single and my guy had a double and could barely eat it all. Highly recommend it!

Spent $37 on 2 scoop waffle cones, 1 scoop cake cone, and 2 single scoop cup. I love ice cream, but that’s way too high. Customer service was good.

The Sugar Shack is a little old place with great burgerssss Honestly I started reviewing and Love Shack started playing in the Sugar Shack. A yummy (big) cheeseburger for at least the past 13 years+ that's consistently delicious! What more can you ask for? Well, there's Hershey's dipped Ice Cream and shakes, Icees, a candy wall, pucker powder station and bagged candy. Grill choices include burgers and sandwiches, chicken tenders, tots, and lots of tasty snacks like cheese sticks and nachos . . . Service is order at register and they bring food, with tables inside and outside with condiments. Sweet server. Super casual, kid friendly atmosphere :)
