We need y’all in TN. Tried to get a lavender latte up here and it’s not the same. See y’all next March for Orange Beach Invasion!
The cinnamon roll is amazing! I enjoyed their daily brews while staying at Hotel Indigo. The coffee shop is attached to Hotel Indigo if you’re staying there.
Got the chicken salad on a croissant— croissant was ridiculously dried out and tasteless. The chicken salad was just ok. Cucumber salad was tasteless like it was just in water. Pasta salad was ok but seemed like it had been around awhile as the pasta was mushy. We were there on a Saturday at 11:45am and had to wait to get lunch until noon.

The Southern Grind Coffee House at the Wharf is a charming spot that offers unique flavor combinations and delicious espresso. Their lattes, inspired by Taylor Swift songs, are a highlight, with options like the Midnight Rain Latte featuring blueberry and white chocolate. The atmosphere is cozy and beachy, with a kind staff and beautiful baked goods and breakfast dishes. The restaurant also serves good food, including vegetarian options, and has a cool atmosphere. The breakfast bagels are a favorite, and the chicken biscuits are also well-liked. The cafe is connected to the hotel Indigo, making it very convenient for those staying there.
The decor includes light blue, white, and wood tones, creating a pretty ambiance. There is even a shopping area with coffee cups, trinkets, books, toys, and coffee beans. While most of the staff is kind, some customers have noted occasional off days. Prices may be a bit high, with items like a side of fruit costing $7.99. Overall, this spot remains a favorite for coffee lovers, with options like the Lavander honey coffee and Cream brûlée iced coffee. However, there have been mixed reviews on certain dishes and drinks, with some customers finding issues like overcooked eggs and heavy cold foam. Despite the ups and downs, many express a desire to return and try more menu items.
