This place is one of my favorites. Always great food, pleasant atmosphere, and great service. The four of us dined October 31, 2025 and had a wonderful meal served by Brian and capped off with crème brûlée. Outstanding.

My favorite restaurant of our Orange beach trip!
Everything on the menu was delicious, from the bread to the pizza. My personal highlight was the lasagna. It was even better the next day!

One of the few places you can get food at the beach that isn’t pre-made tourist food. I ate there today and Sarah behind the bar gave me such good service. I asked for an old item that is no longer on the menu and she went above and beyond to make it happen

The manager Danny a Villagio is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. How he is still employed there is surprising to me. I’ve spent thousands in this place and get told I must leave or he will call wharf security because the last time i was there I tipped in cash ($200)and it got pocketed, not sure how this is my issue once my cash leaves my hands. He then proceeded to get into an argument with me about it in front of all the customers stating that he is surprised that I would ever show my face there after I told him he sucked as a manager for disrespecting us last time we were there and not tipping. When I told him I left $200 cash tip he walked off after calling me a racist and claiming I was calling people the N word. Even the bar tenders couldn’t believe that he was being that disrespectful. This is who they let run their establishment. Unacceptable!
Fantastic seafood and risotto, pizza was amazing as well.
When we vacation here we visited this restaurant many times. Something has changed and the food doesn’t represent the price and my order was incomplete. The food was mediocre.

Located at The Wharf, upscale-ish, but accommodating to children (simple kids menu). We chose to eat outside, it’s a nice ambiance when the weather is right and seeing as kids can be unpredictable I didn’t want to possibly disrupt anyone inside. They had an indoor & outdoor bar, which was kinda cool. James was our server, he was very personable, checked on us a lot, and made himself available if we had any questions. We got 2 pizzas, lasagna, side Caesar salad, and kids chicken tender meal. The pizzas were great and you can customize them (even though the menu doesn’t say that). The lasagna was SO good as was the salad. My child LOVED the fries & ate every single one. He ate two of the three chicken fingers, but he’s only 4 so I’d say they were a hit, too. The menu is not overly big, but everyone was able to find something.

My friend and I ordered the 10 layer lasagna and it came out cold after we waited an hour and 20 min for our food. Then our husbands were finished eating by the time the lasagna was corrected. The food was good but I doubt I would come back just because of the long wait for food.

I live in Gulf Shores. Villaggio is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is great. Usually, I sit at a table, and my service is also exceptional. Today, I was with a group, and we wanted to watch football games so we sat outside at the bar.
Here’s a piece of advice: If your bar tender at Villaggio, is Monica, here are the choices:
1. Ask for another bar tender. Keith is a great option.
2. Move to a different section of the bar because the bar tenders other than Monica seemed to be excellent.
3. Leave. Go to another bar.
Monica is rude. Monica doesn’t pay attention to her customers. Monica rolls her eyes when someone needs something. Monica serves you one drink and never comes back to see if you need another. When someone tries to get Monica’s attention, sometimes she pretends she doesn’t hear the person and sometimes she says, “I know, I know,” and then turns around and walks away. Obviously, she doesn’t know.
Monica projects a poor image for such an amazing establishment.
With years of restaurant experience, If I had hired Monica, I would remove Monica from my payroll.
Thanks, Villaggio, for great food and atmosphere. Please, at the very least, have a chat with Monica.

Thank you James for the wonderful experience! The food was absolutely amazing. We got the bread and lobster bisque. Two different wood-fired oysters and two desserts. Everything we ate was great. We got there 45min before close and it all came out fast and delicious. James was amazing and we will be coming back because of his service.

This place isn’t as expensive for lunch but their menu is limited as well. It’s annoying especially if you come really hungry as portions are small for most things. Dinner would’ve been better. The food tastes pretty good but given the portions, it’s a bit expensive so go into this place knowing dinner is the best option. Overall, if it wasn’t for the small portions & limited lunch menu, I might’ve given this a 5/5 but it’s too limiting on portions to do so. Still worth checking out.
