Buenavista Mexican Cantina | Hampton Cove

We go to Buenavista ONLY if Nelson - the bar tender is there. He is unbelievable and very caring and attending and honestly makes 150% of the great experience for us there! Well, the food is great too, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Thank You, Nelson !

Sadly ,we don't have a Buena vista in madison anymore, but this one is a little further but just as good !!!!

Very good Mexican restaurant at a reasonable price.

Food was good. Plenty of it, when we got our bill, there was beer on the bill. We did not drink any beer. If we had not looked at our bill close, we would not have seen it. Not a good look.

Eating in or carrying out its the best place to get Mexican food. Food is always good and they are always super fast and friendly. Never seen a place be so fast yet still have that great quality food. I appreciate everyone who works there they have a great crew!

The service that served us was courteous and very friendly, what caused me doubt is that I felt the chicken wings, although they were recently cooked, were on the verge of being spoiled. Although I must say there were a lot of people, there was no space to park.

I only recommended Buenavista because "usually" the food is good. Most recently, I ordered the California Burrito with chicken. It should have been called a rice Burrito. Maybe 5 pieces of Chicken. Very little beans. I don't recommend this item.

Everything was great until the end. A big roach climbing up the wall beside me. Kinda gave me the creeps. Won't be back. We aren't allowed to bring our pets in so why can they have theirs?

I ordered chips and cheese dip, along with other items for delivery. They forgot the cheese dip, the chips were old and stale. The overpriced cheese dip, when I finally received it, had lumps of un melted cheese. The ONLY reason I didn't order from the AUTHENTIC place down the road is that they don't use door dash.

The service was outstanding, the restaurant was clean. The food was pretty good. The dish I ordered could have had a little more flavor or spice to it. The portion size was very good so you won't be there hungry

My family has enjoyed dining at Buena for a long time, since located behind Publix. Good food, great service. The atmosphere has always been nice, especially decor & lighting. But on multiple recent visits, the overpowering smell of Fabulosa (a recalled product in 2024) permitted my husband and me from sitting inside. I will admit to being sensitive to strong smells but there has to be a more effective and a clean product that can be used.

A fantastic option for Mexican food. Nelson is the most fantastic bartender and always takes perfect care of us. We love it as a weekly stop!
