We ordered in the app. Upon pickup we waited 20-30 minutes in the drive thru only for them to tell us to come in the store. When he went in they said “we didn’t want you to wait.” We already waited.

This remains by far, my all-time favorite Captain D's due to how amazing that the customer service always is! As a matter of fact, I'd say Natavia is the absolute best being how as soon as you enter the restaurant to get waited on by her, she makes you feel right at home! Must I remind you one of the managers (the tall bald headed, bearded guy) is also very courteous!

Missing part of my order. Associate was very RUDE at the front. She acted like she was doing me a favor because I asked for some sauce. I highly don’t recommend this location. Go to Vestavia is the much better location.

Benjamin Franklin installed the old 1700s A drive thru speaker. Of course they can’t get your order right, it sounds like we are communicating with 2 cups connected by a string. Of course they don’t care they got your order wrong. You spent $40 on some dank fish and everyone in the car ordered a drink but you? Makes sense to them, definitely your fault. I wanted a drink and got none. I wanted slaw and broccoli as sides and instead I got attitude and regret. Never again.

5 stars for service and food, 1 star for procedure. I placed a large online order. I got here, and parked to come inside. I didn't want to block the drive thru while waiting. Walked to the door, and they're locked. And this is at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. ?? So no choice but to use drive thru. I drove around and wait in the line, and get to the window. I inform them I have an online order. They then tell me to please park and come inside. I said I tried already, the doors are locked. 'Oh, I'll come open it for you.' A lot of wasted time and needless frustration. But, everything else was good.

I've come here for 30+ years since my kids were little kids. Now I come with my teenage grandkids.
If we want fish then CAPTAIN D's is where we go. No, it's not the finest seafood available but it's a great change from ask the other fast-food options in town.
Also, I have found the quality of their servings to be consistent in size and cooked quality.
The customer service varies from person to person but most seen to try and be helpful and, their version of, nice.
The restaurant just always seems dirty and greasy. Can't help there. It just does.
Will I go again even still? Yep.
