I love this place. Get something with shrimp and you won't be disappointed. My favorite is the tostada ceviche and shrimp taco. For lunch, it's so much food for only $7. And on Fridays all of their lunches are $6! Their guacamole is fresh and delicious (if you like chunky guacamole). And their salsa is fresh and yummy as well.
This is the best Mexican restaurant in the Alabaster area! Our family loves fresh seafood which is why we eat there once a week. My personal favorite is the ceviche. It's always very slow when we go in so I hope it stays in business! If you enjoy seafood, this restaurant is a MUST! They have great specials as well and there is normally a coupon in the Value Book that we get in the local mail.

One of only two Mexican restaurants in Birmingham with food from the Nyarit District of Mexico. Delicious, authentic food. The El Rey Ceviche was killer, which was octopus, tilapia, shrimp, and scallops, soaked in lime, cilantro, and seasonings. We also had the empanadas, which were the best I've ever had. The chips and salsa weren't anything special, but the other food more than made up for it. Two thumbs up.
