They have this one specific worker by the name of David. He's really great with customer service and anytime there's something wrong with my order he always makes sure to have it fixed asap. He's also very patient and makes sure I have what I need before I leave the window . Ask for david on night shift between 5 pm and 2 am any day but Tuesday or Thursday

Taco Bell food should be universal across all stores. This store represented the brand well with tasty selections, clean dining area and acommodating service.

Closed half an hour early. Grills often shut off over half an hour before close. Unsure what management is doing at this location, but it’s not working. I won’t be surprised if this location ends up getting shut down because of the workers.

Horrible, not one single item was even heated up to make any attempt to melt the cheese.

The restaurant got extremely busy right after we walked in, with probably 15 people coming in at one time plus cars in the drive thru. Dakota, David, Jacob and Bree were on top of their game and handled the crowd and busyness perfectly. They went out of their way to get me one extra taco even in the midst of the crazy crowd and were so polite and kind about it. They did an excellent job and I appreciate this staff so much!

There’s a man here who is rude, combative and argumentative. I asked to have something remade because it was poorly made and there was no meat on it. It was hands down the worst crunch wrap I’ve ever had and it’s literally the only thing I eat at TB.He started off with saying he couldn’t change anything because TB limits how much meat they can use and it affects TB costs and yadda yadda. I don’t care about costs, I don’t need someone to explain costs to me at a restaurant. I said my food was poorly made and there was no meat. I even showed him the side that was literally just a tostada and tortilla!! Thennnnn he proceeds to flip open the food at the drive thru and tears it apart and digs through it?!? While still being combative about remaking it lol. I’m not sure what he was trying to prove while deconstructing my food in front of me but it was pretty childish. When I asked why we’re even arguing when I’m just asking if they can remake it, he said “I’m not arguing.” I had to ask again if it could be remade or not and he walked off without saying a word. Not once did anyone apologize for it, but I apologized for even having to ask them to remake it. I apologized at least two to three times, but not once did they. I’m never the one who complains about anything but this interaction was worthy of a complaint. Combative people shouldn’t be in customer service, or at least shouldn’t be customer facing and he’s proof of it.

The food was good but 45 minutes wait was not. My teenage daughter placed her order at 8:40pm, she was with a group of friends who also ordered food. I came to pick her up at 9pm and food was still not ready. I finally walked in to check what is taking so long, and she was finally given her food at 9:25pm. One of the workers (young man) told me they had 30 people in the restaurant (not true) and 30 people through drive through (not true) and some door dash orders, and they are understaffed and it is very unusually busy Monday. It is a fast food place after all, I was sitting there on the parking lot and did not see that many customers walking in or driving through. My daughter also told me the workers were joking around how they "forgot" to place her order or accidentally skipped it again. Not acceptable.Taco Bell on Valleydale - in and out within minutes.

Rude employees. I've only been here twice and had several missing items both times.

The staff’s attitude was very rude and unprofessional. They didn’t give us our drinks, ask us if we wanted sauce, and wouldn’t give us a receipt. The food was thrown together and very messy. Cheese and lettuce was falling out of the wrappers. The burrito had a fourth of it packed with ONLY sour cream, making up a good chunk of the burrito and when I bit into it, it was only sour cream. They did not include the extra steak that I paid for and asked for at the time of placing my order. The whole experience was a terrible one and I won’t be returning. It makes you concerned if they are this sloppy with basic tacos if they’re keeping to hygiene and food handling safety standards (wearing gloves, wiping down the stations to prevent cross contamination, etc.). Do not risk it, go to another place nearby that is not this Taco Bell. Their standards are clearly nonexistent.

UPDATE 10/2023: After many many many months of not trying this location, I decided to give it another chance. I ordered a Mexican Pizza, and the pizza shell tasted like industrial strength degreaser. I told the person at the counter and asked for some other item of similar value, like a burrito or something. Instead they re-made the same Mexican Pizza, which also tasted like degreaser. I told the manager that most likely all of the shells taste this way, and asked her to try a bite of any one of the shells in the kitchen. The most incredible thing happened: She told me that she doesn't eat the food from here. I WONDER WHY! No refund was offered. This location is literally serving customers poison. My guess is they are not properly rinsing the deep fryer after cleaning it, resulting in all the food cooked in it tasting like degreaser. This is a review of the Pelham, AL Taco Bell located on Highway 119.Needs corporate retraining.Awful and rude staff. I remembered after ordering at the drive through that I needed another item and attempted to add it to my order at the window. The employee lied to my face and told me that it is not possible to modify orders at the drive through window. There was not even anyone else in line behind us. I told her that I had added/modified orders at the window in the past, and she said nothing. After paying, we checked the bag to discover that one of our items was missing entirely. This is a consistent problem at this location. Items are frequently left out of the bag that were paid for, and often times the order is flat out made incorrectly. For example, you order no lettuce, and you get lettuce. Order chicken and you get beef. Order a side item and it is flat out missing. This location is also regularly out of certain drinks, and the drink machine is often improperly calibrated, resulting in soda-water or super syrupy drinks. Chalupa shells are frequently stale and rock hard, to the point that they are difficult to chew and may literally cut your mouth. The amount of food that you get inside your items at this location is consistently less than the Hoover or Alabaster locations.Managers/franchisee: Tell your employees to be more polite, check that they have made everything and put it in the bag, and not flat out lie to customers faces. Ensure adequate food/drink is ordered to prevent from running out of food or drinks so regularly. Ensure that those responsible for drink machine calibration are trained and doing their job.Corporate: Please come down hard and fix this place.
