Okay I love the food here. Their chilaquiles, tacos, quesadillas are soooo good. But im tired of going and the waitresses charging me whatever she wants. They don't itemize their bills and every time I go it's a different price. It's shameless. Usually 20% more than menu price. If you increase your price, show it on the menu! Even if you put a piece of tape with the new price. It's a hole in the wall, we don't have high expectations. Just be honest and transparent. It's getting out of hand. I go less now cos it's irritating.

Recently ordered the chicken enchiladas! The cheese did not melt. the chicken was in chunks like for a salad. I told the waitress we do not like the food we wanted to order something different after only taking one bite she made a face and told me what do I want instead I ordered that Chilaquiles which were OK. Left the enchilada plate on my table. The waitress finally came and asked her. Can you please remove this plate we're not going to eat the enchiladas thank you. She took the plate to the back. The owner came in and I asked her for more coffee. She ignored me. Then she came up to me and told me I'm gonna have to charge you for the enchilada plate. I I stayed at the reason why the enchiladas were not good. The cheese was melted. The chicken was not a standard and on the menu it doesn't say that the cheese doesn't melt or specify what kind of cheese they use. She said I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to charge you. I was very upset didn't finish my food. Went up there to pay for my food she was very rude. I stated again my total, and also reminded her that enchiladas were no good, and I'm not gonna pay for them to remove them from my bill. Thankfully. Tip never to return bad service! Food is mediocre I have had other plates like there pozole and chilaquiles and wet burritos. Hard pass gave them enough chances!

I ate there today ,well I tried to eat but unfortunately we were very unsatisfied with our food. I ordered a taquitos de carne desebrada plate and they were burnt and salty AF. My husband ordered tacos de tripa and they were salty too. My beans and rice were cold. Very unfortunate that I was giving this spot another chance after I had another bad experience with them almost 1.5 years ago.

Located down the street from target and the Kaiser Hospital on Baldwin Park Blvd. this little Taqueria has only a few parking spots right in front. I do believe there's parking around the back but luckily I was able to park right in front. I'll start off by saying my green enchiladas were very very tasty. The enchiladas themselves were skinny, but there was multiple of them which made up for it. They were very tasty packed with flavor perfect amount of spice. For the price it was very worth it. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the kids portion for the pancakes. I'm actually very disappointed in the size of the small pancakes. they're being for kids these pancakes are not for kids they are for toddlers the pancakes are so tiny I have a 7year-old and these three tiny pancakes with eggs didn't even fill up my son all the way. And my daughter whose 10 was very hungry after. She had her own order. I actually ended up having to buy her more food later. From the picture, you may not be able to tell but the kids pancakes are very very small again they're more like a toddler size they're not for actual kids. And I had to pay extra for one sausage. The police inside is very small. There's only a few tables and chairs, but the food is very good. Definitely not saying anything bad about the food because it was very tasty. The service was fine, it was a to go order the staff was nice and friendly.

I really wanted some authentic chilaquiles. None of the modern twists or takes, just traditional chilaquiles with eggs and sides. La Chilanguita hit the mark. I ordered their chilaquiles con salsa verde and a spicier red salsa on the side. I considered the options they had with meat too, but opted for the carnitas taco with a handmade tortilla which was absolutely delicious. Their red salsa was spicy but rich in flavor--it seemed to have a bit of oregano in it too. Paired with the coffee and it was a home run. Service was fine, and the ambience was very homey too. My only concern was the bill. I was overcharged a bit compared to the menu prices but the receipt was not itemized. I'm not sure if the red salsa was a separate cost, but I'll assume a benefit of the doubt. Overall a great place for chilaquiles!

I am not from the area so I was in the mood for a pambazo so I ended up ordering two. They were flavorful my only complaint is that there was more lettuce and cheese than anything else, made the pambazo look good but after taking a couple bites and realized how much lettuce there was and how dry it tasted I was bit disappointed. I think I will give it another try next time I'm on the area.

If I can rate this place a zero I would. I've tried this place twice now and the first time wasn't good the second time I tried giving it a second chance. But turns out there food is just not good. Especially the burrito it did not taste like a burrito idk what that was! Don't come here.
This place has the best chilaquiles that I've ever had at a restaurant. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about. It's usually the opposite where hyped up places get great reviews and the food is nothing special. This is a small family owned restaurant with phenomenal food and good service. The Chilaquiles Rojo with Asada and Egg is amazing. I never get anything else so I can't comment on the rest of the menu but this dish alone is enough of a reason to check them out. Their Agua Frescas are great and always fresh. I never leave reviews but I had to support this place because they deserve it.

Decide to order from here as the food look good, bu that's all. It looked good but was horrendous. I really was looking for something similar to the quesadillas sold in Mexico City. I ordered one with mushrooms, basically all it had was mushrooms and a tiny sliver of cheese. You'd think they would put cheese in a quesadilla, well no. They had some kind of Cotija looking cheese and sour cream on top which did nothing for the flavor. It was so bland all you tasted was the sour cream. Not my idea of a good quesadilla. Then I ordered a huarache made of Carne Asada, the huarache was just a tortilla, and the Carne Asada was a type of pan fried bistec with onions. These people obviously don't have any idea of what Carne Asada is. Couldn't eat the huarache the meat tasted awful. Had no refried beans and just a few cilantro leaves not even chopped up. The Carnitas gordita was a flavorless as the Carne Asada. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! They need some serious cooking lessons.

What an ugly food with no flavor and you put onion in it as if they didn't have it anymore. It's very tasteless. I don't recommend it and I wouldn't eat from that place again.
