The Old Place is a cute place with a laidback, cool atmosphere. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the owner is amazing. It is the cheapest price around, with a quiet atmosphere unless live music or karaoke is happening. It opened in the former Beer Hog location, and it is a better version. There are no beer flights, but the staff will guide you to a beer you will like with great service and attention. The place is decorated well, quiet early, and vibrant late. The food menu is great, and the tamales are worth trying. There is a huge selection of beer, plenty of food options, and pool tables. The patio is nice in cooler weather and allows dogs. There is a stage for live music, and trivia is fun. It is a relaxing neighborhood bar with friendly, warm staff, reasonably priced drinks, and great conversations. Pelham now has a British pub and a new watering hole hub. Trivia and bands are coming soon for summer, with Cornhole on the patio and billiards for the Alabama heat.
