The restaurant was spotless, there was plenty of room between table so you weren’t worried about someone listening in on your conversation, the ribs were EXCELLENT, the fries were hand cut, the sweet tea was so good, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer!
Parking: There were parking spots all the way around the building and afforded ample parking, even on their busiest days.

Went here today for fist time and was really impressed! I had the ribs and they were smoked to Competition style i.e., "bite off the bone" I really liked the rub seasoning that was applied prior to smoking. Was told they are it themselves as well as their bbq sauce. Also very good. To top it off we had a slic of delicious buttermilk pie (home made - not bought). The girl that made it was telling us he she does it too. Just a great overall experience!!

I had finished up some business in Columbus and was about head home, but I was starving. I remembered reading some reviews of Cook's online and decided to give them a try.I wasn't disappointed.Wonderful, attentive service and fantastic food! They had some great specials, but I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I ordered the three-meat platter (ribs, pork and chicken) with sides of greens and potato salad. I added some Brunswick stew (one of the most mentioned items in the reviews).Everything was delicious. The ribs were tender and flavorful, as was the chicken. None of the meat was dry or overcooked. The sides were wonderful, and the greens weren't overseasoned (they did offer pepper sauce or Tabasco if you like your greens with a little kick). And the Brunswick stew lived up to its billing.I topped it off with a slice of buttermilk pie and walked out full and happy. If you're looking for a locally-owned place that has great food and tremendous service, THIS is your place!

Amazing food! I had the fried green beans, three meat plate and buttermilk pie. The ribs and chicken were spot on and I didn’t even add sauce! There was a great taste to the meat when it came out, so I didn’t bother trying to change it.The only reason I didn’t finish my plate is because I was getting full and wanted to try the pie and it was soooooo good!!!Sorry that I didn’t take a picture of the pie, I inhaled it before I thought about it lol.

I ordered through DoorDash today. Today was my very first time trying the food. The reviews on DoorDash and Google is what prompted me to try out this restaurant. The food was good for the price. My food came hot and my special requests for how I wanted my meat(s) were honored, which was a plus. I give the restaurant 4 stars because I would have liked a bit more seasoning and smoke flavor on both the ribs and the chopped pork. That's my only critique. The mild sauce was pretty good too! It has a little kick to it. Ribs and pork were tender and not overcooked. ☺️

This place had me sold on the fries alone !!!! Then I had my salad and it was made to perfection. I also had some ribs and those were amazing

Not sure where to begin. The meat was literally melt in your mouth. Didn't even need to use my teeth on the pulled pork, burnt ends were so flavorful. Homemade potato salad was delicious. French fries are cut to order, fresh and not one drop of grease on a fry. Italian cut green beans my wifed ordered,which she normally don't eat had her wanting g more. The Brunswick stew was definitely made with LOVE. I was give a gift card for Cooks and it was the best gift I recieved in years!! Only complaint...14miles from my house! I will be back MANY times. I met the owner,cook,maintenance man, janitor, fire stater and wood stacker..he knows who he is*WINK* Great service, Great food,GREAT PRICE!
Nice restaurant. The barbecue sandwich combo was delicious just wish it was a bigger sandwich cause I ate it too fast ? ??..And the fries were like the ones I cook at bome..

Omg the customer service are a 10 they are such nice sweet helping people its very clean in there also the food was a 10 i had the pork nachos u get alot of meat on it also chips was still crunchy cheese pull i also had the lunch special chop pork meat meal with fries and drink didnt real like the fries and i had buttermilk pie wayy too sweet its good i just prefer crunchy fries overall 9/10 must try

Kenny, Sir. Janice and I were impressed with our first-time experience. We enjoyed the Thanksgiving Turkey story. Can't wait for our Family Christmas Party. The family will get to taste your cooking. I like the fact that I didn't have to put sauce on the food. The flavoring was not overbearing or lacking. ?
