Kalani’s Hawaiian Style Cafe is a wonderful place for great food. The Hurricane Chicken is sooooo good, and the hurricane combo is insane with great fries. The Katsu chicken is another favorite. The Mac N’ Cheese and the hurricane chicken are mindblowingly good and can be eaten anytime. The Chicken Teriyaki plates are absolutely delicious, tender, perfectly grilled, and have just enough Teriyaki sauce, with sides of white rice and Hawaiian style macaroni salad. The food is authentic, hot, delicious, and absolutely flavorful. The customer service is off the chain, friendly, courteous, kind, professional, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even made an order with no hesitation when it was time to close. The spot is in a really lowkey place in Phenix City, sitting right off Crawford road in a quiet plaza. It is chill with good music, and there are cool Hawaiian-themed treasures to buy. It is clean and run as a project of love. This is a must visit on the next trip to Phenix City, Alabama. Stop by and you will not be disappointed.
