“Being a Texan, I’ve always had a soft spot for Whataburger. So when I heard one was coming to Montgomery, I was excited. At first, it lived up to expectations—but over time, the quality and service declined. Eventually, I gave up on my beloved WB entirely.

Fast forward a year, and I found myself reluctantly trying Hardee’s for breakfast, simply because I refused to give any more money to the local WB. That decision turned out to be the best one I’ve made in a while.

From the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the absolutely fantastic service. Every employee I encountered was smiling, upbeat, and genuinely friendly. It felt like I’d stepped into a time machine—back to an era where customer service actually mattered and guests were truly appreciated.

And the food? Delicious. Consistently hot, fresh, and well-prepared.

I’ve returned to this Hardee’s many times over the past year, half-expecting things to slip like they did elsewhere—but they never have. The service remains top-notch. The staff still moves with purpose and pride. It’s honestly a monumental feat in the fast food industry, especially around here.

“When I came into the restaurant I was greated with a hello from Shirley. Shirley was very nice and seemed to know what she was doing. She seemed to be running the front of the house along with giving directions to back of the house and drive through. The restaurant was very clean. When Shirley brought out my food she even thought of bringing extra butter for my dish. I am a manager of a local chain and the customer service here was absolutely outstanding. Shirley deserves a huge raise“

“I think this Arby’s suffers being right next to Chick-Fil-A. I usually eat there but was just in the mood for Arby’s today. The restaurant has been recently remodeled and is very nice. I really love that you can choose to do half & half with flavors then add a fry..always plenty of fries. I'm partial to the boneless wings & most of the time I can make 2 meals out of one plate or sometimes split a plate with my husband. Service is always great, kind & courteous. I live about a 1/2 mile from another Subway location, but the Perry Hill Road location is my only go to!“
