Let me say, I have been attending classes at Montevallo for almost two years, and have tried finding a place there for good comfort Japanese and Chinese food. None of them, and I’ve tried many restaurants, have come close to the quality of Oishi. And for the price, it just makes it all that much better. The ones near Montevallo charge more and have either way too much sauce, bony bits in the lo mein, or very dry chicken or just nasty flavored chicken, and it’s more expensive....

Food was not what I accepted... This little whole in the wall restaurant had good food and the price was really good...A family could eat there without breaking the bank...The restaurant really needs updating...

Food tasted great and very affordable. BUT… service was terrible. The waiter was super rude and never checked on us. Also, we have found a hair in our food multiple times eating here.
