My guests were even going up to other guests making sure they got a slice and telling them to make sure they tried it because it was that good! and THAT is how cake should taste and you have set the bar high for my future expectations, ha! The coffees were delicious, however we felt that the “puff” pastries were very doughy and dense. We almost didn’t finish them because they were mostly unenjoyable.”

“The best catfish and fried green tomatoes EVER!!! The attention to detail, like refilling your tea and making sure everything is to your liking. It is a very busy restaurant that handles well with a beeper upon checkin. There is no waiting room, some seating outside. This is well worth the wait.”

“We've lived in the area for almost 3 years, always wanted to try it. My wife and I got the hamburger steak plate and the 3 rib plate and let me tell you we are kicking ourselves for not trying sooner. The ribs were smoked perfectly and fell off the bone, the hamburger steak was phenomenal, but what truly set the meal off was the smoked beans. If you haven't tried yet please do so I highly recommend!”

“Loved this place. I would always bring friends who were visiting from out of town here ! Not sure what’s going on with the new “partnership “ the hours are very odd , they are no longer open on weekends ?!? And you can only order take out on the three weekdays they ARE open , menu has changed a lot , now has bbq , wings and stuff . Willing to give the new format a go to see if they are still as good as they used to be , but doubt that will happen with new limited hours ! Such a shame , they were one of my favorites places to eat !”

“Went for time on last Saturday. Ordered Pastor, Steak, and Chicken tacos. Everything was, fresh, hot, and cooked to order. Service was quick and everyone was friendly as well. The truck moves locations but I was lucky to catch them on this day at the Dollar General on Pinson Valley Parkway/Hwy 79. I will definitely be back.”
