“As an out of town contractor working & lodging in the area.. this has been my go-to spot for consistently delicious food and menu selection. I think others might agree as I've seen more people dining in here on my several visits than anywhere else in the area. I wish they were open on Sunday.”

“I was excited to try this place on a Sunday, for their advertised Sunday Buffet. I'm glad I did. I was first greeted by who I later learned is one of Ma Francis' sons, in the parking lot, as he directed me right to where my meal awaited. I made way way into the annex building in the rear and was promptly greeted by youthful, smiling faces before making my way to the buffet table where a very nice woman served me exactly what I'd asked for among several other options. I had the baked chicken, collards, Mac n cheese, stuffing and black eyed peas w/ a side of cornbread and a sweet tea. I was worried my eyes may have been bigger than my stomach when I sat down with my plate haha. And they were. My first & only food plate happened to be plenty for me this trip. I did get a serving of peach cobbler to go. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. This was definitely that feel good, smile on my face comfort food I'd hoped for! I can't wait to visit again very soon and try totally different items my stomach wouldn't fit on this trip. There aren't many options in this area, especially on a Sunday. I believe I picked THE best option and am pleased. Give these genuine, nice folks a try. “Good flavor from the seasoning. Chicken tenders were a little over cooked so they were dry & stringy. Staff is nonchalant & relaxed with customers but not rude.”

“Good food for small town, ownwers are very warm. They constantly clean and keep food fresh. 4 different soups. They will cook anything custom for you if you ask or running low on the buffet. They made me some fresh stir fry string beans! All restaurant prices are up not just this one, I mean fast food is $10-12 for a cheap combo so it goes to say ALL- you- can- eat should be up too.”

“Tonight revamped my faith in Huddle House Roanoke. Not only was our food good, it was served in a timely manner, hot and beautifully plated!!!!! Kudos to the staff and especially the cook. The bacon on my salad was ooooolala!!!! We look forward to coming back soon!!!”

“One of the better buffets I’ve ever been to. I had the chicken and dressing and it was tasty. I highly recommend to mix the whipped cream Oreo salad with the berry cobbler. Perfect sweet treat to end the meal. I’d go back for sure!”

“Good food. Popular place... parking can be a bit if a situation, but lots of tables. Burger, chicken, onion rings are exceptional. Fries are handcut. Corn nuggets really good. As a nonlocal, i did not care for the pulled pork... probably a regional thing. Sauce is good. Sweet tea really good, coke products, big cups.”

“All the employees were super nice and actually worked a little bit over the time that they were supposed to close to accommodate my boyfriend and I. The food was still super delicious I made sure to stockpile me on veggies. Even the bread was so fresh. I even was able to ask for it toasted and they turned back on the oven just to do so. Would totally recommend even later in the day you will enjoy.Vegetarian options: They have so many choices of like salads with all the vegetables you could ever want. Definitely make someone who sometimes doesn't like meat the ability to have something tasty.Dietary restrictions: All items have the amount of calories that they possess even a list of breads. They offer wraps which also are low calorie as well as like turkey and such. Even their cold cut combo is made strictly from turkey-based meats. So definitely a great option if you're trying to watch those calories.”

“The employees take pride in their job so much that they know their customer's orders, even on a busy Saturday morning. This past Saturday, a customer had an incident at the restaurant and the staff was immediately attentive to the situation and provided full assistance to the customer AND had the kitchen preparing their order at the same time. It was fabulous to witness.”

They let me know when I use the kiosk if something isn't available, and give me great options for replacement.Dietary restrictions: The offer meat options besides beef for just about everything on the menu, or no meat at all they'll work with what you need, within their abilities.”

“I’m a baker and did not have the facility/ time to bake and decorate a cake . Picked a cake that was plain because we were in a hurry . Explained it was for an 80 yo birthday. They made a delicious moist incredible cake and even added a little extra detail.”
