Ordered pizza at 10am to arrive at 4:30 pm. Never showed up. At 5:15pm Called to check and mgr told me to just come pick it up, would be faster than waiting for the driver. So i picked it up, it was cold and had been sitting for an hour. He made me wait in line, and still charged me. Never again will we use this location.

They were nice enough to replace the pizza that I got that had very little sauce and few toppings. I asked for a well done thin crust as I always do. It was overdone, hard and crunchy. They replaced it after telling me that well done pizza is often a little burnt. I've never gotten one like that. The replacement pizza was slightly better but no better than a frozen pizza. I was a Papa John's fan for years but I will never order from them again.

When ordering from papa John's, one does not expect 5 star pizza. I haven't had much to complain about before as we have ordered from here many times. Toppings have been scarce, but that seems to be the norm. We ordered tonight and I ate 1/2 of a piece. The dough was very tough and sure didn't look like it did before. It was thick and had no raised puffy crust on the outer edge. Very unhappy

Ordered at the counter and was told it'd be fifteen minutes. It was busy so it took 35. No worries.
The pizza was absolutely horrible. NY style (Not). Thick in parts, thin in others with three or four big air bubbles in the middle. I won't return to Papa John's.

First time at the Robertsdale location. The xlarge New York Pizza with pepperoni was great, fold it, eat it flat. If you were lucky, you'd get a bite into one of the crunchy pepperonis!!

I placed an order for delivery VIA Papa John’s app. This was placed at 3:39pm, at 4:06pm it said my order was on the way. I received my order at 4:36pm. I was missing a whole medium pizza and a sauce I paid for. I quickly called papa John’s MANAGER line to figure out what to do. I needed the pizza to feed my family or I wouldn’t have ordered it. She answers doesn’t introduce who she is and when I explain she says “I gotta call DoorDash” and places me on hold. I sit on hold for 10 minutes, no update. So I hung up and called again to see if I needed to drive up there to pick up the pizza, I didn’t receive. I didn’t want the pizza refunded or ordered refunded I just needed the pizza I didn’t receive and I was willing to drive up there to get it. She says “I was still on the phone with door dash” and I said “well I was on hold for ten minutes straight I just needed to know if I needed to drive up there” then the phone hangs up. This is where I got angry. I call corporate and as I’m calling there is another line beeping in and I answer, and she says “we must’ve gotten disconnected oops” in a condescending voice which floored me even further. Then proceeds to say “door dash must’ve kept the pizza or given it to the wrong person but door dash is responsible for the refund”. I didn’t want a refund, I wanted the pizza, and to be treated like a frequently paying customer, which I WAS, emphasis on the WAS. I stated “no it didn’t disconnect you hung up and I wanted to come pick the pizza up, not a refund”. I needed the pizza to feed my kids, who were crying they didn’t get the pizza they picked out. She proceeds to tell me “it’s on door dash” and I’m not gonna lie I turned into a Karen. The point of ordering delivery pizza is for the convenience. Then she wanted to say, “you received the pizza so there isn’t anything I can do”. Insulating I’m trying to get something for free and lying about how I didn’t get it. I get it’s partnering with door dash to deliver the food, but if your partnering with someone and they mess up or you mess up it’s still ordered from your company. And should be handled by your company and disputed with door dash by you later. I called a nice man at the corporate number who gave me a full refund for the stress, trouble, and cold food I received. However I will not be ordering from papa John’s in Robertsdale again, unless they hire actual managers who know what customer service is and how to provide it. I hate leaving reviews, complaining, and if I would’ve received everything even if it was all cold, I would’ve just decided to do carryout from now on. Or even if I had to pick up the pizza that I didn’t receive, I wouldn’t have wanted anything refunded or complained at all. It’s the sheer fact it was an inconvenience on top of poor customer service. If I am paying $52 for pizza including the tip, I expect better.

I placed a order for delivery. They said it would be here in 30 minutes. I called to see where it was 45 minutes later. The girl said it was put in as carryout. She did bring it to me. A very nice girl. When I received it, it was not hot. Ordered real light sauce but was not like that.

Tried the cheeseburger pizza and they gave me a pizza that had barely any toppings in the middle and NO topping around the outside for about 5 inches. Manager did give me a refund but that pizza should not have been allowed to go out. Check out the pic with the general pictures.

Fast, prompt service. The Manager Brittany is the best! Very polite and always gets everything right and makes the best pizzas?Definitely my go to when I want a pizza.

We ordered a sausage pizza it was more like a cheese pizza with maybe 5 pieces of sausage on each slice we were very disappointed and will not return to Papa John’s Pizza
