The Family Center Baldwin County

Great facility with wonderful people who care!

I would just like to start by saying these negative reviews are completely wrong about the family center, I have been in parenting classes and supervised visits for 8 weeks now. From day one until today everyone and I mean everyone who works for the family center have been nothing but professional, understanding, and been a tremendous support for me. This place taught me how to spend genuine time with my daughters, they also provided me with tools to take back out into the world when it comes to parenting. Because of the people here and the lessons I've learnt, I see smiles and I hear laughs I haven't seen from my daughter's in years. I was hesitant at first due to the negative reviews, but after my first class and first supervised visit I realized just how much I needed help from the family center. Again I want to thank every employee who has supervised my visits, and Mrs. Jessica for the lessons she's had taught me. I will never forget what y'all have done for me and my daughter's, I will forever be grateful and always remember you lady's. I wouldn't be the father I am today without y'all, thank you from Matthew Grundy and his daughter's kinleigh, Emersyn, and Ensley!!!

These people are rude and have no compassion for anyone . They need to be shut down as a family center. They are only about themselves and not family.

I have been going through a difficult divorce process. I was given visitation through the Family Center for several months. It was a great experience. The facility is nice and the staff have been great. They were always friendly, helpful, and made sure to take plenty of pictures during my visits. They also offer a parenting class that was enjoyable and helpful. If you are having to go through a divorce or custody case, these folks are very understanding and offer assistance in any way they can.

The behavior of the social workers are bad. They have grossly racially discriminated against me each time I have gone to the center, either in Robertsdale or Mobile.They have always favored the other parent over me no matter how hard I try to be cordial and compliant to their rules. All I ever wanted to do is spend time with my children and they have made it so difficult to do so. I strongly disapprove The Family Center.

Do NOT recommend, especially Tammy. Tammy works with the wrong side of life & death situations in regards to the children. This center is not for the betterment but for whoever they seem to believe & feel sorry for.

It has been my experience that the staff in particular Tammy operates in a biased and unfair manner. She spent countless time with my ex who was ordered to have supervised visits and has been diagnosed by a Doctor to be a narcissist. During this time he was able to influence her against me and so far as to say lies about me and get the staff director to write a letter to the judge in my case without even once talking to me to get my side of the story. She lied and said I would sit parked with my doors locked not allowing her to get my daughter out of the car. This is a bold faced lie and totally futile to the purpose of me taking 45 minutes to drive her all the way to the center for the visit. Ive already been a victim of verbal abuse, physical abuse, and harassment by my ex in the past and this place only dug deeper into those wounds. Someone needs to be aware of what happened and Tammy does not need to have the role she does at this facility.

Excellent group of folks. I drove all the way from Mobile to attend the Family Center in Baldwin County versus finding the same in Mobile. They have been a great help.
