My first time here, I was having a lunch meeting. The gentleman I was meeting with was running late and told me to "just go in and sit at the table by the fish tank." I did exactly that, and when the waitress arrived I told her who I was meeting and she just smiled and treated me like I'd been coming there my whole life. Good, honest, country food. 2nd time dining at Mac & Jerry's. This place reminds me of the Diner on the Andy Griffith Show. Good food, healthy portions, and service with a beautiful smile. I had the number 2 on the menu; two eggs over easy, sausage patties, potatoes (onion) and wheat toast. She even threw in a sliver of peach cobbler for free. There is no place in the world you can get better value and quality for $8.50.
