“I ordered their rib lunch special , the young lady over the phone was real sweet and very informative. The ribs was really goooood and also the potato salad always come through? The only thing got me down was the banana pudding it was not fresh it was already brown when I opened the cup . I will go back just for the ribs or their chicken but I’ll pass on the dessert.“

Probably the best BBQ I ever had and I eat a lot of BBQ!We had a combo with 1/4 of a chicken, sausage and 3 ribs! The combo comes with some bread!It's enough for 2. “Found a little jewel in Mobile, AL. Don’t let the small size fool you…it’s BIG on flavor! My partner said it was the best pulled pork ever. I had bbq chicken, really good, need lots of paper towels for the delicious, sticky sweet sauce. Collard greens I could eat at every meal with Mac and cheese like Grandma used to make. And I had a hard time leaving the friendliest order taker/cashier, Wanda. I could have talked to her all afternoon, but the road called.“

“The Tree is a humble little restaurant on a quiet street in derelict downtown Prichard, where it is a welcome breath of fresh air. Went with my dog and sat outside, so I only got to see the tiny patio with just a couple of tables and the counter where you place your order. It's a bare-bones, no-nonsense kind of spot, but neatly maintained. Ordered ribs, which were done in the typical Gulf-coast style (sweet), collards, and banana pudding. The food is standard "soul" fare, no surprises. A little vinegar on the ribs would cut the syrupy quality (and, for that matter, would be nice on the collards as well). The pudding reminded me of a school cafeteria, and not in a good way. Staff and customers were all warm and friendly. Drinks, even the non-alcoholic ones, are obtained, mysteriously, from another part of the establishment, presumably the bar, so I skipped the beverage. (The server would have brought me one if I had asked.) I'll be back to try their other offerings. It looks like a reliable, reasonably-priced place. Huge parking lot across the street.Parking: Ample“
“The waitresses are top notch. The owners actually care about their customers. The food is ALWAYS good. The steaks are the best you will ever eat. Every time I go here I get a 14oz ribeye on a hot plate. It may be a little out of the way, but I 10/10 recommend this place to eat with family and friends.“
