Buenavista Mexican Cantina, Scottsboro

Figured I'd give it another chance, but this is the second time I've tried this place, and the second time I've had diarrhea from here. Will not be going back again.

Ran across this wonderful place! Carla was an absolute pleasure to have as our server!!!! This was our first time here and we will definitely make the drive to go back. The food was amazing 🎉and again it’s the wonderful Carla who helped make it such a wonderful experience eating there. ( as you know… if the service is bad… the food just doesn’t taste the same😆)

The food and service is Exellent! It is alittle more on the expensive side.

Eat here for supper while traveli g and it was good. The atmosphere was good, the service was good, and the food was good.

I would eat here again if in the area.

Our server Nyla was a sweetheart! The food was delicious. Margarita too! No complaints!

We arrived with needing a table for 7, only 2 were there but the others were parking. They had our table ready and my wife and I seated before the others could walk in. This on a busy Friday night. Our service was great as was the food, the restaurant is clean with excellent decor.

My family and I come into Scottsboro occasionally to catch a movie and usually eat dinner while we're there. More often than not we hit Buena Vista. It's been a few months since we've been there. The food is always good and I've never had a problem with the service but the first thing I noticed when I walked in today was a sign by the door explaining that a minimum 15 percent tip was expected. I've always been a good tipper, (22 percent today) however I have no intention of being lectured about it. To the owners, just raise the prices a little and pay your people adequately and save the guilt trips. I've read some of your other reviews, doesn't seem like you're in a good position to antagonize your customer base. At this point, I think I'll stick with one of the 2 Mexican places back home.
