This is not a luxury dining establishment, but has good, no frills, VERY reasonably priced food with BIG portions. The Godzilla roll is about 12 bucks, but is deep fried goodness, absolutely massive, and tasty! Is it an authentic Japanese experience? No. Will you find an omakase option or kaiseki dining? No. But for about 7 bucks you can get a massive plate of good "sesame" chicken (a sweet teriyaki type sauce here), vegetables, and fried rice. I've been coming here for years, and still pop in every time I'm in Scottsboro. Think mall "Japanese" food, but tastier, cheaper, and bigger. I'm sure I'll be back in a few months for round...736 or so, lol

First time coming here, I got 2 imperial hibachi plate, and man this plate is huge it could feed 3 people easily, and only $12! My only complaint is Just the food needed more flavor, I will come back tho and maybe ask them to add more seasoning.

We really enjoyed our meal. The chicken bento boxes had generous portions and properly cooked rice. The salad ingredients were fresh and crisp. The chicken was not dry and had lots of flavor. Hibachi chicken likewise was a generous portion and prepared just right!

Me and my co worker decided to drop by Tokyo Japan and eat today, we were greeted very kindly by a very nice young lady named trinity, she apologized for our small wait and proceeded to take our order with upmost kindness, I really love what Tokyo Japan is doing with their restaurant. Not the best sushi I've ever had but definitely worth your money. A lot of bang for your buck as opposed to diving all the way to Chattanooga or Huntsville and spending twice and much, plus time and fuel. I actually like this better than the sushi place over by Walmart. Cheaper and tastes better. The biggest negative here is their older building, but if they had a nicer building you would be paying them nicer prices. Seem to be friendly folks. Sadly, even that's getting harder to find these days.

Definitely a unique experience in little old Scottsboro Alabama. They fill up the boxes quite a bit. Very unique flavors, very delicious. My family gets this all the time and have for years.
