I had the shrimp and grits - shrimp were great. Over a grits cake with a cream conecuh sausage sauce. Delicious! Wrapped up with the hot toffee cake. The food was great and the server was personable and attentive.
I can’t lie…I left hungry and pretty disappointed. Since I was in town on business with tornado recovery efforts, there weren’t many restaurants open and no delivery services running so I opted for the in-hotel spot even though I couldn’t find their current menu online. A welcome addition to downtown Selma, this new gathering spot has an upscale swank vibe (complete w purple alligator print chairs), with all familiar southern classics on the menu in a classy historic hotel is killer mix
