Best feet in sand, view dining experience on island for dinner. Drinks were excellent. Main dish was 49, fish and risotto. Came not hot but warm. Service was outstanding. New ownership has brought changes, not all good. Food quality has suffered. Why are there no Gulf shrimp on menu? Still it's nice to sit and watch the sun go down, while having dinner. But you pay the price for the view.
The restaurant was difficult to find for an out of towner, the signage was very small. Once inside, there is a cute little boutique with a very distinctive order. It was pretty strong and smelled of sewer. I was personally disappointed to find the restaurant has resin table and chairs. Our waitress was awful, she showed up with her books hanging out, took our order and disappeared. She never checked on us and my hubby had to flag her down for our check. We had a wonderful server, Casey. He was very attentive, knowledgeable and very patient with my elderly parents and answered all their questions. It was refreshing to have a server not try and rush you and enjoy talking to you. Thanks Sandbar and Casey!
