BLUEGILL Restaurant Reviews
Thanks to Josh our server! Great service, great food. Make sure you check out Bluegill when you are in the area.
We made it to Bluegill right before the live music started and had the sunset table ready for us when we got there. The staff were all fast, friendly, and professional! We enjoyed our food and our hospitality from wait staff and both the assistant manager and manager. Ones Last name was Ross, and one’s first name was Ross! the sautéed crab claws are divine.
We, a group of 4 were excited to try their food. We were seated quickly and placed our order. We had blackened redfish, crabby patty and shrimp loaf. All the food was bland and overpriced. Pathetic

Bluegill Restaurant is a place where customers can enjoy good food and excellent service. The servers are known for their welcoming and attentive personalities, making guests feel valued. The restaurant offers a clean and fresh atmosphere with good parking. Bluegill provides a quintessential Gulf Coast dining experience with fresh seafood and scenic waterfront views. While some food items like wilted salads and bland broccoli casserole have raised concerns, the crab cakes and Mahi-Mahi have received high praise. Recent diners have enjoyed the crab cake sandwich, noting it was packed with crab, and the lunch pimento and crab corn soup, which was seasoned to perfection. The shrimp and oyster dishes are noted for their flavor and freshness, making them popular choices. The brown bag special, which includes fish tacos and a burrito version, has also impressed diners. Customers appreciate the option to customize seafood cooking methods like fried, grilled, or blackened. Though some items, like the fried oysters and pecan pie, received mixed reviews, the overall vibe and service make Bluegill a suitable option for those looking to celebrate and enjoy a meal with attentive service. Whether locals or visitors, many find it a spot worth checking out for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
